1 STAR -- I DO NOT RECOMMEND BEJAR CONCRETE DESIGN…read more We paid Bejar Concrete Design more than $130,000 to build a three-tier retaining wall system and concrete steps. Less than one year later, all three wall tiers have numerous cracks, the largest wall appears to be bowing, and one crack is approximately 3/4 inch wide. An engineer evaluated the wall and advised that it presents a serious safety concern. The concrete steps are also cracking and peeling. We have repeatedly tried to get Bejar to address these issues through BlackPine Landscaping, the landscaping company involved in the project. BlackPine has been honest, communicative and has continued trying to help us resolve the situation. Unfortunately, Bejar has not shown up to correct the problems, and our attempts to reach them have gone unanswered. Our experience does not appear to be isolated. A neighbor's driveway, installed by Bejar less than a year ago, is already cracking and peeling in numerous places. Another neighbor's concrete steps are also beginning to show similar problems. Bejar features our project on its website, but has failed to stand behind the work. I have photos and documentation of the damage and will continue documenting its progression. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bejar Concrete Design for concrete or retaining-wall work. A $130,000+ project should not develop serious cracking, peeling and apparent movement within its first year, especially when an engineer has identified a safety concern

Matt explained that was normal over time and that they would repair it with a fiberglass mesh. Their workers really worked hard and got it all done in two steps. I hired SwiftHand to paint the exterior of my home. There were many places with peeling, faded…read morepaint that I was wanting to address. The exterior beams were in poor shape and I was nervous about how the existing paint would be adequately removed. From providing an excellent quote to the final walkthrough after the job was done, I had an amazing experience with the company. I had regular contact with both the owner and the project manager throughout the entire project. They stuck to the promised timeline, used high quality paint, and did an all-around amazing job. I was incredibly impressed at how thoroughly the house was prepped before the job - they spent hours going around with a razor, scraping off loose bits of paint. As a result, my previously terrible-looking 60-year-old beams and cedar siding look as good as new! The painters were also very courteous and tidy, and did not leave any paint messes to clean up afterwards. My house looks incredible, the financing process was easy, and I will absolutely hire SwiftHand for any future paint jobs I have.

This company was good to work with until they made a mistake. Swift Hand Painting painted our trim…read moreand baseboards without prepping any of them. They didn't fill holes, cover scuffs, and culk. On top of not prepping before paint they didn't prime raw would but just painted over it so now it has a rough texture and will need to be sanded down and primed. They also painted our interior doors and left command hooks on them and just decided to paint over them. After communicating these mistakes to the owners they became very defensive and said it wasn't a part of their contract to prep. Soon they figured out that indeed it said on their contract that prep was included and they screwed up. Instead of owning it and fixing it they offered me to fix all the mistakes and take some money off the final price. I told them that they should fix the mistakes or we can part ways. Management chose to part ways instead of owning up and fixing their mistakes. Like I said the company was great to work with until they made a mistake. I would NOT RECOMMEND this company because if they make mistakes it's pulling teeth to get them to fix it. Horrible experience!! ***Quick update with Swifthand Painting. Since we had a bad experience and left bad reviews they have blocked us on social media, called us names on Twitter and then deleted the post after we saw and responded. Also I took up the floor coverings they left and found that they got paint on my new tile floor.
