We had to check in several times to remind them that we had a deadline. We were also told the railing would be included in the price and it was not done. I'm mostly happy with the work but will definitely not be recommending these guys to anyone.

Our house is transformed and it's so much more than just the wall color! The trim and doors are gleaming clean and white, and all the scuffs and holes are gone. We are so happy! We were planning to paint our bedroom by ourselves but now that I've seen what professionals can do it's so tempting to hire them again.

Hiring this company was a major mistake that has left our community with sub-par results and an unresolved mess. They did not live up to their contract in any capacity. The quality of work was so poor that we had a representative from Sherwin Williams come out to inspect the job. They measured the paint thickness and confirmed it barely met even the absolute minimum standards. Furthermore, Sherwin Williams explicitly stated they would not warranty the product because of the poor application techniques used by CertaPro--specifically, the paint had been watered down so excessively that it compromised the integrity of the finish. We spent nearly two years attempting to resolve this with them. We met in person with the owner, Paul Limburg, and the project manager, Adam VanSleeuwen. During that meeting, they acknowledged that they had failed the project and explicitly agreed they would make it right. Relying on their word, we even paid them additional funds to facilitate the repairs. After taking that money, they abruptly pivoted and informed us they were walking away from the project entirely, claiming they could not "meet our needs"--even though those needs were explicitly outlined in the contract they signed. They have wasted hundreds of hours of our community's time, taken our money, and left us with a failing, low-quality paint job that we now have to pay someone else to fix. The shutters are PERFECT! They dried flawlessly and all the parts function as they should. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this type of painting, which is not something the typical homeowner will get good results from if they do it themselves. I am extremely picky and particular about painting work, and so, before meeting Victor, I started the monumental task of painting our kitchen cabinets. Victor was there as I worked and was great about discussing what I was doing, along with some pointers that I appreciated. In hindsight, I should have had Victor do the cabinets for me too, as it was not so fun for me to do. I trust he would have done as great a job on the cabinets as he did the shutters. We were told from others that shutters are tedious work to paint, as there are moving parts that have to be painted from all angles, and that it is probably best to just replace the shutters instead of paint. But the shutters were still in excellent condition, and it just didn't sit right to me to throw them away. We were referred to VC paint by another painter (who I highly trust for good work.) I am very happy with how the shutters turned out, and I'm so glad I had them painted instead of replacing them. The other bids wouldn't have allowed us to put hardwood into our family room, but Pedro's was within our budget. We had a specific look we were looking for and he did it. He responded before the job to all inquiries promptly and he did the same even after the job was over. He started and completed the job on schedule. He worked hard and paid attention to details.
