We chose Legacy because it is a local, independent business and he did a wonderful job on our first project, a storage shed for our backyard. The price he quoted was reasonable and fair. The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. We are extremetly pleased with Legacy Doors and More and the subcontractors that Michael hired for the plumbing and electrical work.

His bid was fair and the most reasonable of the three companies I solicited. He charged exactly what he bid, communicated well about when he was coming (seems well-organized), is reliable, hard-working, experienced, and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond what we hired him to do, as I was tasked with digging a 14' x 18" trench to bury the electrical conduit for the stub up to the hot tub before the slab could be poured, and Juan simply helped me dig it (he had much better tools for the job). I think Juan's willingness to work hard for the success of his jobs and help with something additional like this is rare and valuable. When the job was complete, Juan thoroughly cleaned up all remnants of gravel, etc... on the road, in the carport, and in the backyard. Moving the sprinkler system into the yard ended up being the biggest challenge of this project-trying to find the lines that went under the side walk so they could be rerouted was like looking for a needle in a haystack. But three days of work and the mow strip looks amazing and we didn't have to break our backs getting this all done by ourselves. So if you are looking for a great deal these two guys offer great prices compared to their competitors.

They have an "Take-It, or Leave-It" area; where you can drop off large items, like furniture, that are still in good, used condition. And then, others can "peruse the merchandise" and take home something new-ish. For instance, when I drove by there were 4 matching dining room chairs, and a rocker/recliner chair; ripe for the picking. I was there specifically to purchase mulch from the green-waste area. For $25 you can buy one loader-sized scoop (seriously, it's enormous) of compost, or mulch. There are three different kinds of mulch available. And if you don't need a giant serving of compost, you can buy a bag of it for $3. They're doing a pretty good job of keeping the waste managed. Everything was very well-organized.

I tried again the next morning and figured we would just sleep with sweaters and tons of blankets. I found HVAC services of Utah LLC and Marilyn answered. She was so nice and helpful and was able to come out. The entire time she was at my home she was great. She asked about my dogs and their names and was just wonderful. I just purchased my furnace less than a year ago and it quit working on one of the hottest days in Salt Lake. Leaving me to either have to spend additional money that should be covered under warranty or wait until Monday with temperatures expected to be over 100 all weekend. Incredibly horrible customer service. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone as they will leave you to fend for yourself after giving them thousands of dollars for a new unit.
