When we started planning our son's baptism, I actually scheduled the reception around their availability because I knew it would be worth the wait. From the beginning, Ronda was so kind, genuine, and wonderful to work with. She made us feel like she truly cared about making our family's day special. Our reception was at Courter Country Farm, and even the venue had nothing but wonderful things to say about Ambrosia. After experiencing it ourselves, I completely understand why. The food was incredible. Every single thing was exactly what we had envisioned, and guests kept coming up to tell us how amazing everything tasted. The prime rib was hands down the best I've ever had. That's saying something because I make prime rib every Christmas and consider myself pretty picky (especially my husband)! Somehow Ronda managed to make it even better, and her horseradish sauce had the perfect spicy kick that we absolutely loved. What stood out most, though, wasn't just the food, it was how much heart went into everything. You could tell this wasn't just another catering job. It felt like she genuinely wanted our family and friends to have a beautiful experience, and she delivered exactly that. Our son's baptism is a day we'll remember for the rest of our lives, and Ambrosia played a huge part in making it so memorable. We felt incredibly blessed to celebrate with so many people we love while serving food that everyone is still talking about. If you're fortunate enough to find an opening on Ambrosia's calendar, don't hesitate. I completely understand why they're booked so far in advance, and after waiting four years myself, I can honestly say they exceeded every expectation. I'll be sharing photos soon, but I couldn't wait to write this review. Thank you, Ronda, for helping make one of the most meaningful days in our family's life even more special.

We got a yummy salad with homemade ranch, crab dip with heart shaped baguettes, tri tip steak which I wish was a little more medium rare then well but that's just me , mashed potato's, green beans with bacon and some delicious Carmel apple crisp ! Everything was so perfect ! We ate the entire thing. Saved the wine since we like a little bit sweeter wines but are excited to try this one . Everything was adorable with the heart shaped crisps and bread. We are so great-full that we found this wonderful place. The customer service was outstanding and definitely went above and beyond . I drove from port orchard to poulsbo during the snow to get here which was worth it ! Thank you for amazing service !

I had the 1/2 beef brisket sandwich and it was the real deal. The pitmaster said he'd had it in the smoker for 18 hours. You could taste every delicious hour. Chopped brisket with a nice smoky flavor served on a small bun. They had squeeze bottles of their housemade BBQ sauce. I chose the Tasty Texas (I think that's the name) which a lady said was their spiciest. It wasn't spicy at all to me but it was thick, rich, and oh so good. Secondly, I'm very frustrated with them because I can't walk into a restaurant to eat more of their Q. I have to wait for special events and look to see if they'll be there. Just so happens I tried the brisket sandwich of another well-known BBQ guy yesterday at another local festival. I was very disappointed because it didn't taste like real BBQ. I'm a home smoker and I know how to make great BBQ brisket and pork ribs. So trust me when I say again that All Fired Up is the real deal. Be sure to check them out if they're at a booth someplace. Next time out I'm trying their baby back ribs. If you're planning a catered event and want top quality BBQ definitely give them a call.

Todd, the general manager, contacted me right away with a reasonable quote for our event and was willing to come out to a rural residence. We requested a drop off party so they provided all the disposable chafing dishes, silverware, plates, drinks, etc. They were easy to work with to make the arrangements. Oh my goodness... the food was fantastic! It arrived piping hot and the BBQ spread was amazing! Everyone kept saying how much they loved the BBQ chicken and the sweet ribs! The potato salad and coleslaw were amazing, too. Pound cake, whipped cream and fresh strawberries rounded out the meal. Five stars for the excellent service and fantastic meal! And of course, the food was delicious with asparagus wrapped phyllo spears, vegan charcuterie boards, roasted vegetables, sweet potato topped with goat cheese and honey drizzle. Perfection! Chef Sunshine Catering provided very lovely food for our wedding this past September (my mom still…read moresays the majority of the apps/dishes were too salty, agree to disagree). Unfortunately, my mom and I CAN agree that the food is now the only positive component of our interaction. This company has been so unprofessional and dismissive of my family's reasonable concerns regarding our wedding post event and it is all very upsetting, especially following such a joyous event. The gist is that we had a few basic points of feedback that we wanted addressed, which included the salads not being individually plated and pre-set (the salad type was specifically chosen given options delineated by the caterer for this purpose), running out of potable water (of which we paid for), and a variety of guest service concerns including the bartender informing guests that they were "running out of wine" when we had cases of wine available to be brought out. Our contact responded to our concerns very unprofessionally and over-reactively (IMHO) in her first email. Then, when my mom took the time to provide further detail and support of the issues at hand, and express her own frustrations as a key financial stakeholder in the wedding, that email was met with a very terse response that didn't even address any of the items that had been thoughtfully (and factually) laid out. All our contact said was that they "take all clients concerns seriously" and then "wished us all the best" and then, that was that. Short and not so sweet. Never an apology or ownership, just defensiveness, blame, and then a couple thank you for the feedback. We paid this company thousands of dollars for our once in a lifetime event and not having concerns addressed appropriately and professionally is just a complete let down, on multiple levels. I understand that there are not a ton of options out on the peninsula. What I am confused about is the lack of adherence to even a base line of customer service, let alone this "superior service" that they boast. To make matters even more disappointing, to date we have not been contacted by Chef Sunshine herself (not to mention neither she or Chef Patrick checked in on us once at our Tasting which is fairly standard practice). I have over 10 years of experience working in the hospitality industry and I was so excited to work with a caterer whose reviews boasted kindness, price flexibility, and creativity--in the end, given our final interactions with this company, success in all of these areas (and more) fell very short of expectations.

I can't even begin to describe how many compliments we received on the food. Between an amazing cheese platter featuring all local cheeses (I'm still receiving inquiries about which cheese they used!) to a beautifully plated, delicious buffet with a menu customized just for us, there are no words to describe how tasty everything was! Their service was also beyond reproach. Since our venue typically uses a list of set caterers they require any outside caterers to tour the premises so they have a clear proposal for how they use the space. Sunshine, her husband, and their chef all drove nearly 80 miles and took a ferry to spend the afternoon touring the space. We were also able to sit down with Sunshine and plan out a menu that worked perfectly with our theme and worked well within our budget. Their prices were extremely reasonable and well worth every cent! During our wedding they went out of their way to make sure my husband and I got to try everything, packaged up all the leftovers for us, and even helped clean up! Without a doubt, hiring Sunshine's was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process. I couldn't be happier with the results and encourage anyone thinking of hiring them to do so without a doubt!

The sour cream makes it creamy, which I didn't hate. Meat was tender and flavorful. The biggest surprise, though, was the four tortilla -- it was perfect! Tender but held it together. Super thin, as it should be. The whole package was tasty and big enough. It came with corn tortilla chips on the side, which I didn't expect -- they were surprisingly good! Seemed freshly fried. I ordered the Tijuana Burrito with chicken. It is supposed to come with rice, cilantro, onions, lettuce, cheese and beans. Unfortunately, it was almost all rice and really bland. There was just one bite of chicken, almost none of their homemade beans and some lettuce. Then they did not seem to have any cheese, but did have some sour cream (maybe they ran out of cheese, but should have told people). The burrito was $19 and no excuse to pack it full of rice. This was really disappointing, the food vendors here are usually excellent (my wife was smarter and had a sandwich from Purple and loved it). Perhaps the tacos or Baja Bowl are better.
