I cannot stop bragging about the food at my wedding - thanks to Crescent Moon!!…read moreWhen we were planning our wedding we knew we didn't want the traditional menu, but were not sure exactly what we wanted. Then we found the best catering company EVER. Crescent Moon helped us pick out a Cajun menu that excited us & tailored it to our needs - we added specific drinks, macaroni, kids menu, etc. This team was an absolute DELIGHT to work with from beginning to end. Their communication skills are beyond exceptional and response time is crazy fast! Not one time did they tell me "no" and they offered so much expertise and advice. Aside from their amazing customer service - THE FOOD IS WILL GO BEYOND YOUR EXPECTATION. IT IS THAT GOOD!!!!!!! All of our guests made comments toward the food and how great it was. They made the day-of so special and made sure everything ran smoothly. I did not have to get involved one time for anything. They left personal touches & even took away our wedding CD to remember us by :) I can not recommend this company enough. Thank you so much Crescent Moon for being the greatest vendor I could have ever asked for!

I had the 1/2 beef brisket sandwich and it was the real deal. The pitmaster said he'd had it in the smoker for 18 hours. You could taste every delicious hour. Chopped brisket with a nice smoky flavor served on a small bun. They had squeeze bottles of their housemade BBQ sauce. I chose the Tasty Texas (I think that's the name) which a lady said was their spiciest. It wasn't spicy at all to me but it was thick, rich, and oh so good. Secondly, I'm very frustrated with them because I can't walk into a restaurant to eat more of their Q. I have to wait for special events and look to see if they'll be there. Just so happens I tried the brisket sandwich of another well-known BBQ guy yesterday at another local festival. I was very disappointed because it didn't taste like real BBQ. I'm a home smoker and I know how to make great BBQ brisket and pork ribs. So trust me when I say again that All Fired Up is the real deal. Be sure to check them out if they're at a booth someplace. Next time out I'm trying their baby back ribs. If you're planning a catered event and want top quality BBQ definitely give them a call.

Oh my goodness... the food was fantastic! It arrived piping hot and the BBQ spread was amazing! Everyone kept saying how much they loved the BBQ chicken and the sweet ribs! The potato salad and coleslaw were amazing, too. Pound cake, whipped cream and fresh strawberries rounded out the meal. Five stars for the excellent service and fantastic meal! And of course, the food was delicious with asparagus wrapped phyllo spears, vegan charcuterie boards, roasted vegetables, sweet potato topped with goat cheese and honey drizzle. Perfection! I corresponded with Nola herself a couple of times in the weeks leading up to the event, and she was very accommodating and patient with me as I changed my mind a couple of times regarding the menu and level of service. It is not cheap to have an event catered, period, but we wanted to have it be an extra-special celebration where we could enjoy ourselves with our guests without the hassle of preparing, warming, plating and serving food and making individual cocktails for everyone. Nola's came through, big time! Nola herself and her bartender, Brandi, arrived a couple of hours early and got themselves set up. We barely had to do a thing once we discussed with them where the bar and food platters should go. We got to just go upstairs and take our time getting ready, and come down a few minutes before the party start time and have Brandi fix us a drink to have in hand as our guests arrived. So luxurious! The party was so fun, thanks in large part to Nola and Brandi and the fabulous food, drinks, and service. Our guests raved about all of the yummy platters - particularly the shrimp with aioli sauce, the mushroom flatbread bites, the smoked salmon toasts, and the charcuterie board with roasted and pickled vegetables. People got extra glowy and happy from Brandi's amazing cocktails, including incredible manhattans and French 75s. Nola and Brandi chatted with our guests and even joined in some of the dancing at the end of the evening! We got to get glamorous and visit with everyone fully after so many months of cancelled and postponed events and having to worry about getting together with too many people. It was, in a nutshell, a truly special and memorable event thanks to Nola's, and was completely worth it. We will definitely be using them again. Highly, highly recommend.

(1) Planning and Coordination They worked with me to come up with a menu that would satisfy adults and kids including accommodating food allergies. The coordination too was on point. From the moment we locked in a menu, I was contacted by their payment team and they took care of that over email. Day of the event, they were at the house at the time that was agreed. The coordination between the company's day of lead and chef was all on point. (2) Event The event was great. The day of lead and chef laid out the appetizers and served drinks. The main dinner was plated and they served us a 3 course meal that was delicious. Afterwards, the lead pretty much cleaned up the place and said his goodbyes right on time. (3) Flexibility I need to give them a big shout out for being flexible with me. We had planned for this dinner to happen on Mother's Day but there was a sudden death of a family friend that caused us to postpone. Twelve Baskets were incredibly accommodating. We came up with a new date and time at no extra costs to us. Thank you! Overall: We had a very positive experience and I highly recommend Twelve Baskets for your catering needs.

We get the same breakfast from another catering company every other week, so thought we'd try a new place. My first experience was with the order - this is actually my 2nd time ordering, the last time was for some breakfast burritos. Both times I had problems ordering on the website and had to call. When I initially did my research, they came in similar priced if not a bit lower than the other company we regularly use. After placing my order, I noticed they charge a 20% "production fee" in addition to tax, gratuity, and then an additional 3.5% to pay by card, so it ended up being $100 more. Also, I figured for ordering a hot breakfast for 30 people they would put it in disposable chaffers to keep hot, but they didn't. A nitpicky complaint is the chopstick serving tools for the fruit didn't work well at all either. Overall, we weren't very happy.

The second wedding they were to arrive at 3pm, by 4pm they had not arrived. Repeated phone calls went to voicemail. They finally returned a call after 5pm...2 hours late! Said they were at the wrong church (for 2 hours???? I think not) got directions even though they had supposedly done a wedding at the church before. They finally arrived 2 and a half hours past when they were supposed to arrive. To their credit, they did set up quickly and there was plenty of food for the guests. The food was good. I felt very badly for the bride and groom though, they did not need this added stress on their wedding day. If you want someone reliable and there on time, this is not the caterer for you.
