Great French food, great value for money. The best tomato/ cheese fondue in the valley.

Cozy inside. The onion soup to start was delicious. We had the Perriade (beef only) for the main. Beef was very, very tough. Really disappointing. Very difficult to cut and chew! Potatoes Savoyard were very good.

We ordered the duck and the chicken along with a green salad and potatoes gratin. See images for evidence! Table service was good and our waiter was very handsome and polite. Atmosphere was pleasant. We sat outside. The tables outside are arranged very, very close together, so if you want space this may not be your place. Also, make a reservation. It gets busy. I would absolutely recommend eating here if you staying in the Chamonix city center and you are looking for a French cuisine with all the traditional favorites. The price is good too! Each individual entree is about 25 euros, house wine is 9euro a glass. The multi course dining prefix is around 35 euros. Fine food for an affordable dining price. This was an excellent dining discovery for us after a long day hiking in the mountains.

From the moment we walked in, the service was flawless , attentive without being intrusive, polished yet warm. Every detail was taken care of, and it set the stage for what turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences I have ever had. Over the course of a three-hour dinner, we were taken on what felt like a culinary firework show. Each course arrived as a small masterpiece, building on the last with creativity, precision, and flavor that kept surprising us again and again. It's rare to say this, but there wasn't a single dish that missed the mark. Every bite felt intentional and elevated. Good words can't even capture how special this evening was. I loved every single minute of it , the pacing, the pairings, the artistry of the plates, and the way the staff made us feel like the only table in the room. Michelin may have given this place one star, but in my book it shone as brightly as three.

The evening started with outstanding cocktails,4 amuse bouche & amazing bread served on hand carved mountain platters. The 3-way scallop, pasta & dessert courses were extraordinary. I wish I had the venison instead of the veal sweet breads, but it was still delightful. We were guided to 2 excellent bottles of wines instead of the 5 course flights. 4:5 hours later, we get the check with a final 3 finishing treats...
