When we left, my bf started talking with the bartender, who told us that they sometimes have live music on Friday nights, and sometimes will show concert footage or other live recordings. (I wonder if they ever play Dark Side of the Moon over Wizard of Oz? I should suggest that next time we go in.) My cousin and I were confused since it was early and I didn't even say anything yet that made it seem like I was foreign. We moved aside and noticed that they allowed everyone else in that was of lighter skin tone. The girls who would go in ranged in size, attire etc. but they were all white. I'm from New York City and have traveled around the world, yet never have faced this kind of issue. I am also Dominican, how can you discriminate people who speak the language, can actually dance and know the music? I do not recommend this Club at all and I will pray for these security guards.
