Come for trivia night, stay for the pints. And good company. Trivia was conducted in French and English, but unsure if that's always the case. Their upstairs is cozy. We sat on the second level and overlooked the venue. Friendly bartenders. Shout-out to Matthieu and Charlotte for their attention! I may have had shots here. Credit accepted.

Alright pub. They speak English here and I saw a few English men here hanging out too. The food was so so...cocktails and drinks are good. They close for lunch at 3 until dinner reopens. Looks like this place gets crazy on the weekend.

We ordered a Mixed Assiette with French cheese, olives, bread and salami, also two pints of beer.

A nice British Pub in the heart of Lyon. A wide variety of beers to enjoy. It has two floors and the upper one is so comfy.

Scottish by all means, and it never fails to entertain. Wallace is fun. The energy in this bar is fantastic! It is always full of groups of people who are very happy to be here and enjoy being rowdy and loud. People come to Wallace to have a good, loud time. So if you walk in expecting to get a table and a drink, you will be disappointed. Especially on a football or rugby night, there will be no free seats, there will be no free tables, and you'll have to fight your way in to get the bartender's attention. If you're not in the mood for 'rowdy' and ridiculous, this isn't the place for you. But if you are, it's an awesome time!

I am not a specialist of pubs, but I like that one! I am not a football or rugby fanatic either, but I take part very gladly in the free quiz of Thursday evening ! (- questions in English & in French) Very good atmosphere, very good music, very wide selection of whiskeys, and very good report quantity / price on the proposed dishes. I would have liked trying the brunch of Sunday morning, but no sweet food on menu ! But eggs, bacon, and other sausages... In reality, a real English-Scottish-Irish brunch ! To try in other occasions in any case :)

Never will I forget the bone chilling scream of my son in my wife's arms. Staff was of little assistance. The so-called manager, "Liam" was violently drunk. He was telling me that the supposed assailant had fled the scene, then a moment later, "he was in handcuffs, downstairs". It was evident who actually threw the glass. This particular individual was merely trying to dissimulate the situation. We received no official apology from the establishment. We left feeling sick and confused. The owner(s) were nowhere to be seen, although, reading these reviews it seems that this "Liam" was indeed the owner. Wonderful. How could this happen to us? How could this happen to a child? And how can a person get away with such abhorrent behaviour? These were questions that haunted us and which lead me to write this review. To all potential customers, I would recommend you look elsewhere for an evening pint. I tend to believe that most people would not support this cowardly act. To the James Joyce Pub, I expect an apology. I can be contacted by email, facebook, instagram and whatsApp. There is no excuse. To my son, I apologise that I could not protect you.
