We had a great stay here. The staff are super friendly and very clear on instructions. This is a dog friendly park with a nice little dog run for 'doing the business'. Bathrooms and showers are kept clean, tidy, and well stocked which I love. The general vibe of this place is calm and relaxing, so if you want a nice peaceful getaway this is the spot. There is no loud partying going on here. Super close to the beach and shops, and walking distance to a butterfly sanctuary walk. read more

Hidden Gem on the Pacific Coast . Spent a week at La Sage Riviera and enjoyed every minute. Friendly staff, good sized sites, clean, and quite. Location is perfect for beach lovers and wanders, five minute walk to the Pismo State Beach and Ocean Dunes Recreation Area with miles of golden sands to explore. Like wise, Fins Bar and Grill, 5 minute walk, serves amazing seafood and some of the best Clam Chowder. Great place for a beach get-a-way. Five stars, Highly Recommended. read more

I'm only addressing their business practices here, as I have not actually stayed at L.S.R. So, here's the story: I called and made a reservation for a month, and within 2 HOURS, I had a family emergency requiring a change in my plans. Unfortunately I had already made a $500 deposit (signing nothing, and with no advice as to their terrible "no refund" policy). Within 2 1/2 hours I called and cancelled my reservation, and was THEN told about the No Refunds policy with no "grace" period! What? I called my bank, and told them that I had received NO goods, NO services, NO respect, NO value, for my $500. Fortunately Visa Card has now given me credit, and I hope "spanked " Le Sage Riviera for doing this to me! So, my advice is - be VERY wary of these folks, and make no commitment to them until you have the whole picture IN WRITING of what the policies might be. read more

Clean, great customer service, close to beach and Finn's restaurant and golf course.

Lets start with the check in. Being disabled I found it strange that you had to park across the street then walk unto the property to the office. Wait...no I could not go there as the office is not handicap accessible. No ramp and steep steps. No sure with ADA requirements if that is ok. Good thing my wife was with me so she could do the registration. Next I found that the wanted to charge me $8 a night more than my unit size. The reason was, "our computer adds 3 feet to what you say your RV is". So I get to the site and it is all gravel. Hard to navigate a walker on it. It would be imposable with a wheelchair. The site looked new and instead of terracing it they just let it slope. Had to nearly lift the right side tires off the ground to make it level. When I went to plug in for power I found only 30 amp service although the web site stated 30 and 50 amp. What they did not tell you is that there are only 6 50Amp sites in the whole park, I believe. When my wife asked about that she was told it was $47 more for the 4 night stay. When we took our dog to the dog park we found it was all gravel also. Poor dog, 40 pound cattle dog could barely walk on it and could/would not do his business. read more

We just got back from a 10 day stay.... again. Check in was easy and the ladies were lovely! We settled in the way back and even though we couldn't fit both vehicles, there was an area just across the street for parking extra cars. The beach is so close and Fins is a great restaurant with in just a few minutes walking. The RV park is quiet and we met some wonderful guests. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was a gentleman who was always sweeping the sides of the sites, filling in dips, painting picnic tables and cleaning the bathrooms. We saw him take out the rubber bath mats and pressure wash them. We were impressed with him and his happy and pleasant personality so we introduced ourselves to him..... his name is Jody. What's the point of having rules put in place? Called to have someone enforce the quiet time 1.5hrs past the time and just got some answering service. The operator was rude as hell, when asked for an ETA she said I don't have an ETA. Then asked if there was someone one site to talk to, she said idk I just answer the calls and leave messages for maintenance. Ended up having to tell them myself to keep it down after an hour went by and no one came. #148 read more

My husband and I came to pismo to beat the heat, we wanted to go to a different RV park but couldn't get in. We were able to get in here at La Sage with the option to find something else when we got to pismo. Upon arrival we immediately fell in love with the place and changed our mind about finding anything else. The park is clean, peaceful, pet friendly and about a block away from the beach. The staff were very friendly and gave us many great suggestions about things to do and places to dine. I highly recommend coming here for a bit of rest and recovery R&R. At a monthly rate of over $1000 one would expect a different experience. Logistically, it is next to a beautiful scenic area of the beach (its only advantage). With that said, there is easy beach access and therefore the foot traffic and visitors can be questionable. The park is open and exposed making your safety questionable. The laundry facility is located across the street, so you need to drive your vehicle back and forth to do laundry. You are less than 20 feet from the highway. If you are located on the fence side it will feel like you are in the middle of the road. The train tracks are on the other side of the road. Given the residential area, the trains siren are rather loud, both night and day. If you are parked on the other side, there is an abundance of mosquitos from the creek. Physically inside the park ,it is all dirt with a few stones. The pathways are very narrow and they try to rent to as large of a rig as possible. During my short stay there were two incidents where a person's vehicle parked in front was sideswiped by a trailer trying to park. There is another strange aspect to this park, something I had not seem before in any park. In addition to the sewer pipe in the ground there is a pole sticking up 15 feet or so between each RV. In the afternoon the park becomes filled with a faint smell of sewer. They say it is because the sewer is connected to the city dump from the beach. The smell is actually coming out of the top of the pipe next to your hose. I don't fully understand what this pipe sticking out of the ground is connected to, but it is not comforting to have it next to your rig with fumes coming from it everyday. One night I heard a lot of noise from inside the park. Afterwards I learned that one of the long-term tenants was fighting and throwing belongings out of a trailer. I heard that the neighbor next to them moved immediately not feeling secure and the management refused to refund them the money. I do not know the exact details, but it was enough to cross this park off my list. There are too many other well managed parks in the area to take a chance on this one again. read more

If you like quiet rv parks with not a whole lot of frills but the beach right on the other side of the trees, this is for you ! Staff is wonderful! Park is kept clean. Price is reasonable! It's close to everything in Pismo . There is a small laundry but again the beach is just behind the trees about a two minute walk. read more

We'll NEVER stay here again! Their WiFi is practically non-existent,we had to repeatedly log in. The T.V service is terrible unless you have a satellite attached to your RV. There is NO grass only gravel and dirt, our poor little dog hated walking on it and it was impossible to keep my RV floors clean. They do not have fire pits, so after you purchase your satellite you'd better invest in a pit too! The dumpster lid is too heavy to lift so people leave their garbage on the ground.The office staff definitely lacks in their communication skills, they are disrespectful,inconsiderate and lack in compassion. The majority of the spaces provide only 30 Amp service, that's not enough for the newer RV's with all the bells and whistles. read more

Le Sage Riviera - RV Parks Near Me - Grover Beach, California

This was our first time in our RV and first time at Le Sage Riviera. We called to see if any spaces were available for our 2004 Coachman and were told we would need to send pics since it is more than 10 years old, we sent the pics and were approved! The lady in the office ( can't remember her name ) was VERY VERY nice and a pleasure to deal with. We paid a $10.00 deposit for a bathroom and shower key and borrowed a few complimentary dvds and headed to our space. The space was nice and clean, all rock and no fire pits but lots of folks had brought their own fire pits. The spaces are quite small and close together but our neighbors were really nice and friendly so the closeness wasn't really an issue. Their were children in the park playing and riding bikes . They must have a helmet though and our son forgot his but a neighbor was kind enough to loan him one. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The beach is about a 2 block walk from the park and there is also a restaurant at the beach access area. I saw pets being walked in the park, no one complained. The pet area is all rock as well, I'm sure grass is harder to take care of but it would be nice to have a grass area for pets instead of all rocks but not a deal breaker. We had space 110 which backed up to a little creek ( fenced off) it was pretty to look at BUT we did get some mosquitoes. If I remember correctly there are 3 rows, the back row by the creek, the middle row which were all pull through sites and then the front row next to the street. The park is well lit and felt very safe. We stayed 2 nights Memorial Day weekend and paid $66.00 a night plus $10.00 (cash for key only) for our refundable bathroom and shower key deposit ( if you want it, it's optional) We had water, electricity and WiFi . All in all it was a pleasant stay, I would stay again. read more

A few reasons this place gets 4 stars and not 5. First, sometimes the bathrooms/showers were closed which was annoying, some were under construction. They were all very clean though as I assume they have been remodeled which is why the one was shut down. Also when I arrived I mentioned I wanted to stay a 2nd month but they ended up giving my spot away for thanksgiving (3-4 day holiday slot) without asking me if I wanted to renew. I have had parks in the past call me and tell me rent was due (which I knew the date) but not here. They worked with me some to give me a 2 week extension since I was leaving town that day and didnt have time to find a new park and move. They wouldnt give me the discounted monthly rate though which was a bit upsetting.All in all the staff is nice and they were apologetic about the problems they caused me. The park overall is clean, my neighbors Char and Brian were great. The best perk is its location walking distance to the Grover Beach, and the fact it was only $600 all utilities included. It also has larger spots than the other RV parks up the road in Pismo (my experience at one of those is documented and was not pleasant). I would definitely recommend this RV park, just make sure you pay your months ahead of time so they dont give your spot away to a 3-day vacationer. read more

I just had a disappointing and confusing experience. 4 days ago I visited the office in person and talked to a super nice lady about making reservations for 6 months starting in January when I retire. I currently have my trailer stored at Pismo Coast Village and stay there for a week at a time. She told me she needed pictures of my trailer since it is a 2001 before I could make a reservations. I sent my pics and reservation request by email that night. When I hadn't heard anything 4 days later I called. I talked to a completely different lady who was not nice. She said they had been too busy to look at my request. OK no problem. Then she told me my pictures looked like I had MOLD on the roof trim. I was dumbfounded. My trailer has been stored under cover for most of it's life and is in great shape. No roof problems. NO MOLD. Decals and paint in tact. No dents. She said she would have the owner look at the pics. A little later I got a decline based on age and appearance of the trailer. The experience felt hostile and I don't know why. I was very polite. So I will go elsewhere with my trailer and my money - like Pismo Coast Village which in 2016 received an "A" rating for a sixth-time based on actual feedback of guests at GuestReviews, one of only 34 parks in the county to achieve this grade. PCV inspected my trailer in person before they accepted it for storage and found no issues. Nor have they found any issues each time I have stayed there. I remain confused. read more

I have stayed at this RV park many times over the past 25 years. It has always been a great place to get away and relax--no frills, not fancy, but a wonderful location with a nice staff. We've stayed for a couple of days up to four or five months. This year the space rent had nearly doubled, we were no longer allowed to walk our dog around the park (even at night when the street outside was dark and not safe given the large transient population camping in the field,) The staff was rude and difficult. It's a real shame about this because we've had such great memories of this place over the yearsbut we will NEVER go back Note--there is a so called dog relief area consisting of approximately 20 feet of gravel. It smells so bad that my dog wouldn't even go there. I always carry my own poop bags and even pick up after others who have not bothered to do so. read more

My family just spent the week here and from the day we got there, we felt as though we were targeted for nitpicking by management because we had kids. Although there were no signs posted anywhere, a staff memember came up to us with a map telling us, as if we should have known, that the kids couldn't ride their bikes in a certain area. We told the kids and made sure they stayed out of that area. We were outside for most of the day watching them play with new friends and ride their bikes... otherwise we were out hiking or on the beach. The day we left, my oldest son and cousin were riding around and looped around where they shouldnt have. Right away this woman came up and asked me to speak to an adult(I'm 37) I said yes, and she said ...I mean an adult all condesending. I said I am an adult what do you need? She accused my kids of riding away as she yelled at them to stop riding in that area. First of all, why is she yelling at kids? Second, I told her that I would talk to them, and she stood their as if she needed a pound of flesh before she left. I dont know why she was so abrasive. It seems to me that they just arent very welcoming to families with children. Also, she accused the kids of constantly breaking the rules throughout the week. This is ludacris, and untrue. They were riding around having fun..not hurting anyone. They may have been loud at times, but this has NEVER been a problem when we stayed at Pismo Coast Village. They are kids for crying out loud! We will never stay at La Sage again. We will take our buisness were it has always been appreciated. We having been camping for years, and have never had a problem or a complaint. I'm really disappointed in the professionalism. Hopefully they will consider this review instead of get defensive. The elderly woman told me herself that she yelled at the boys to come over! And it is clear that you are not being truthful because we were there for an entire week and were only told once about them riding in the wrong area. You can try and defend the behavior of the old woman staff member, but you weren't there. She did speak to me condescendingly. She did ask me to speak to an adult in that way. It's clear you have zero interest in the truth. read more

One star for employees who were great and very helpful. One star for cleanliness. And one star for location. 5 min walk to the beach. Although this park is very small the sites are actually good size. Hwy 1 can get a bit noisy but the park itself was very quiet. Restrooms, showers, laundry weren't open. One weird negative was that the hookups were near the back end of the site which was also slightly uphill... Had to lift up the hose and walk it towards drain each time, why would they install them uphill? We would def stay here again for a weekend or passing through. read more

Location location location. 1 short block from the beach with lots of activity. Short walk to several restaurants and a casino at the restaurant "3 fat guys" really it wasn't fancy but more of a parking lot with full hook ups but what they lack in beauty they make up for in GREAT management. They were very friendly, LOTS of videos and books to borrow, clean (gravel) sites and friendly neighbors. They even gave us coupons for free root beer floats at cool cats which turned out to be excellent! This is the 3rd place we have stayed at and while it wasn't the nicest we would probably go back just because of it being clean and the friendly management. Very clean and quiet RV park. The staff is very friendly. Don't be put off by the extensive list of park rules. The rules are there to create a great camping experience for everyone. 5 minute walk to the beach and in the quiet town of Grover Beach away from the hustle and bustle of Pismo Beach but within a short drive from there if you want to visit it. We did and bought some yummy clam crowder at the Splash Cafe. The Amtrack trains only go through twice a day near the park but not during the usual sleeping hours for most folks. It was actually fun watching them go by with people inside enjoying a costal rail trip. read more

Wasn't the least bit impressed. Tiny park, tiny spaces, and incredibly rude staff. If you stay here, make sure to take your time reading all their fine print because they will throw in it your face at any opportunity. It's absurd some of the things they come up with. I couldn't believe it, as a paying customer they treat you like trash off the street. So rude. The main lady in the office is PARTICULARLY rude. She was rude to my 12 year old daughter and scared her when she went to ask a question in the office. Wow...! What an ideal RV Park! Loved loved loved it here. Smaller than some of the other RV parks which made for a perfect accommodating, quiet & quaint little Sanctuary. Everything was so easy & convenient and Always so clean! Great location, right on the coast with walking distance to; Beach, golf, pier, restaurants, sand dunes etc. So much to do nearby and easy to get to. Definitely coming back whenever we can. I liked that we were so close to the beach, just a couple minute walk! Lady in the office was very nice to us so not sure about the other reviews left. However, it is a small park, some people live here and we kind of felt like we were disrupting the peace (kids playing on Skooter's). The maintenance guy who also lives here, wasn't the friendliest. Told my daughter she couldn't climb a tree, mentioned concern for the girls riding Skooter's, told my fiancé & I who had friended another camper to lower our voices one night, never said hello. Just not a friendly guy. Honestly, he's the reason I'm not leaving more stars and pry won't be back. ‍ read more

Easy to find off of the 1. Super nice staff. Bathrooms were immaculate. Park is very small (not many sites) but also very small across the isles and a bit short on length compared to other beach sites. We have a 35' and typically park our 12 passenger van perpendicular across the front of our site, not here. We had to pull van into our site halfway eating up our patio space. A sidewalk 2min walk to parking lot and bathroom of beach (we drove van on data we were taking the kitchen sink of beach stuff). Otherwise a nice walk to the sand & water. There is a nice nature walk that has boardwalk up on and along the dunes parallel to ocean & golf course that leads to butterfly grove and state beach campground. Downtown Pismo is more of a bike or shirt card ride away. Downside is slow wifi and no cable hookups but we grabbed nightly Redbox movies from nearby 7-11 or board games. Dog spot is super small but beach is dog friendly and plenty of open space outside of tiny RB park to walk dogs. This place is predominantly older couples and EXTREMELY quiet. We had 3 dogs and 6 kids and almost felt bad. We rarely saw folks. BJ's ATV's is just outside of RV park and will set you up with a great time in Oceano Dunes! Farmers market in downtown Pismo is sad but something to kill an hour. read more

It is with great disappointment that I write this review on a place that my family has had almost 4 decades of memories created with. I, myself rode bikes up and down the parks, meeting wonderful friends, walking to the beach and enjoying long summer nights with family around the campfire. We vacated earlier this week after a week of walking on eggshells. I was approached after staying there for a few days by a manager who explained that he witnessed my four year old son riding his bike unsupervised, our voices are too loud and our dogs bark. He also mentioned that my son is not at all allowed to ride toy jeep. It was too loud and disruptive because it had plastic tires. I was absolutely appalled, yes our dogs bark, and so does yours, each and EVERY time I address them, and after a few days both dogs and people walked by without a peep out of them. It just took a few days to get used to camping for them. Secondly, kids ride bikes, they enjoy this activity on any means of transport their scooters, walking, talking and meeting each other. I had so many compliments from campers who said he was the cutest thing riding his jeep (with flags for added visibility) and wondered why he wasn't any more. I know he would pull over when he saw any vehicles in the street and waited for them to pass. You have people leave their camps on harleys' long before quiet hours, but your going to isolate a four year old child riding a toy jeep?!? Finally our voices, TOO loud. It was myself and my mom, at this time. The manager explained that if my voice can be heard outside my campsite it is too loud, seriously, your rules are outrageous. My family is on a name to name basis with more than half the campers that visit this park, however after this experience that will not be the case any longer. I will save my money and go to a place that my son and my family can enjoy our vacation instead of being pestered by some atrocious rules that the management themselves do not follow. Funny how once my husband showed up not another word was said, save your money everyone this place manages to make your vacation a nerve wrecking mess. read more

This will be the 2nd time we visited Le Sage Riviera RV Park. We found this RV park by chance because majority of the RV camps in Pismo Beach were either booked or they don't have the size we need to fit our RV. This place has it all, they are right on the beach and only minutes away from Pismo Beach and Broadwalk, Premium Outlets and restaurants. The only draw back is the train across the street, but even if you stay at any RV campers in Pismo Beach, you will hear the train. They have nice back-in and pull through sites. This palce is clean and customer friendly. They accept dogs too (check for pet restrictions on their website). read more
