We each got the combo platter that allowed us to try multiple meats and sides, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the meat. Especially the brisket, a particular favorite of mine when it comes to BBQ. The mac and cheese was a solid side, but the coleslaw was underwhelming. As Americans, yes, we expect large portions. I've been to Europe often enough to manage those expectations pretty well, so I was also pleased when we each reached a comfortable stopping point and were able to get takeaway boxes for our leftovers. I know it's traditionally trés gauche to take leftovers from French restaurants, but I was happy to see that the trend is catching on. After all, not wasting food is a good thing, is it not? We carried those leftovers all the way to Amsterdam the next day--that's how much we wanted to finish them. We opted to sit in the terrace seating that has a suspended plank for a table so that we could people watch Rue St. Denis, a busy street in this arrondissement. It's in a great neighborhood that was vibrant and full of life, even in the wake of the pandemic. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to try good Texas style BBQ in the middle of Paris.

Since we are from Texas we had low expectations but we were wrong. Freddy's BBQ Serves excellent BBQ THAT WOULD COMPETE WITH ANY IN Texas Or Tennessee! The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender and juicy! The pulled pork was fantastic and the ribs were solid! We had all the sides and loved them The two pitmasters are trained and from Texas and Oklahoma So you know they know what real BBQ is!

Very tender. While waiting for my check, the waiter asked me how was dinner and commented he doesn't understand why there is so much hype about this place. He never tasted the food because he is vegetarian . There is nothing Korean about this restaurant other than the bbq. What he does know is that the restaurant gets the best beef sourced locally in France. Even celebrities come often. Do not expect variety. The only options for bbq is beef and beef tongue. No Korean side dishes that usually comes with the meal. Sauce is limited to soy sauce and hot sauce. It is almost no frills. Service is good and was very accommodating to my 11month old baby and stroller. If you don't plan to go early do make reservations. We walked in at 710pm, and was seated immediately. The restaurant was already rather busy by then. I saw a line waiting for the second seating. If you are craving for something that is not French, this is a good option. Located a short walk away from the Main Street.
