A wonderful restaurant! It is indeed expensive but it's worth it given the quality of food and service! I would definitely come back to try the other food in the menu. The waiters explained everything well, even in English (for non French speakers).
I took the 60€ menu (wine pairings included). I received some bread and butter (which are unlimited until the end) and a glass of champagne. For the entrée, I ordered for myself the cream of artichoke and truffle soup. The truffle was subtle and not overpowering. It's a good start to my dinner. I tried my friend's scallop and chorizo starter. It was good but I think that the chorizo overpowers the taste of the scallops, might not be the best pairing. If you eat them separately, it's good. For the main plate, I took the Tournedos with foie gras, which is their specialty. It was amazing! I asked for a rare cook to the Angus to keep it juicy and soft and they delivered. The sweetness of the foie gras balances the heavy flavor of the Angus. The truffle sauce that comes with it is incredible too! It was paired with a fine red wine from Bergerac and of course it does not disappoint. To finish, I took some cheese from the fromagerie "La Fruitière" and they are known for some good local and imported cheeses. So I was very happy about everything! read more
