Ok I know what you are thinking, reviewing a mc Donald, really? Believe me I am surprising myself…read moreas well as I don't even patronize this chain in the US. The circumstances of entering this McDonald could be foreseen: staying at the hotel across the street with nothing else in sight, not wanting a big meal at the hotel restaurant, the bar at the hotel being taken over by wedding guests, so feeling lazy to go scouting through the town for a place to eat we settled out for a quick dinner at McDonald. I have to say, I was actually impressed by the place. The highlight was a brand new building with a quite appealing modern decoration. Free unlimited wifi was provided. The place had actually 2 counters: the typical burgers, sandwiches, wraps line and a mc cafe with smoothies, coffees, tiramisu, macarons.....and a real espresso machine. We ended up hanging out quite a bit with absolutely no pressure from management to leave and after devouring some fish wraps we ended up trying the Mc cafe for dessert and we were not disappointed. So to my surprise, yep in a similar situation I would patronize this McDonald again.

I loved that I was able to see so many of my fellow Latinos enjoying life over here. Very cool. Onto the food, it was super good! I love fried perch and the fact that it was caught in the lake that is just a block away was also amazing. Fresh and tasty. The steak was also really good! You can't beat Swiss beef! And I'm from Texas, so trust me on that one. The salads are always so fresh and light. I will be back next time I'm in town. Gotta remember to wear a Mexico jersey again.

They were very friendly and attentive. The place has a cozy Swiss chalet feel. We ordered local wine and beer. The steak frite was delicious. The perch meunière was so good with tartar sauce. Finished off with a pear ice cream and liqueur. Strong but good! Very nice experience.
