As it was a hot June day a wonderful breeze was blowing through the tent adding an added layer of enjoyment while sipping on my wine. The wine I was drinking was a local white Vin Verre which comes across very much like a Sauvignon Blanc. The wine was quite tasty with mineral and citrusy notes and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Overall great relaxing spot for a drink and a rest while exploring the streets of historic Le castellet.

With wide open views you will hear the sound of the waves during your whole meal... I would definitely recommend trying to make a reservation if possible and ask for a table next to a window. You will not regret it. The reception and staff in general were very friendly and helpfull, a pleasure to have around. For drinks we had a very nice rosé housewine ( 17 € / bottle ). As an aperitif we had some mojito's As a starter we both took beef carpaccio's. A pretty large portion with some "south of france" extra touches to it: some extra cheese, tomatoes, olives,... pretty good. As our main course we both hadh a plate of fresh seafood ( 25 € ). A Nice big plate of various seafood ( shrimps, tuna, dorade, squid rings, gamba, mussels,...). Value for your money: great. Maybe all in all a bit oversized. As a dessert we had the "créme brûlée"...a timeless classic served as it should be. Was everything perfect: no there were some things that could be better: the tuna was a bit over cooked, the rice wasn't all that great and the owner seemed a bit too busy to make up the final bill. But all things combined: this restaurant oozes charm, delivers a great meal served by a friendly staff and within a beautiful, stunning setting

First of all..the server was super nice and fast. I ordered a burger which I never do in France. It was juicy and full of flavor with fantastic toppings and sauce. The fries were perfect home made and hand cut. I might have come for dinner again for a fish special..a white fish..loup I think, in a coconut curry sauce with a quiche and veggies on the side. Very good meals both times!

What we found was a nice little restaurant part of a hotel that had a great view of the Mediterranean Sea and the sunset. What followed was a delicious, albeit a bit pricy, meal of fresh seafood. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, the lobster and scallops (not pictured) and the bouillabaisse. The shrimp + lobster and scallops were fine. Nicely flavored and not too salty, though the portions were a bit small. The prices were around €20 and €42 respectively which were probably a bit pricier than we would have liked for what we got but the flavors were fine. The bouillabaisse was definitely the star. For 1 order of €68 we were given 4 bowls of soup (with hot refills) and a plate of fresh seafood that were the base ingredients of the soup. It was hearty, filling, and delicious. We had two members in our party who are pretty sensitive to the briny-ness of seafood yet they were able to fully enjoy the soup. It went perfectly with the bread and Cassis half bottle of wine that we ordered. All in all the meal came out to be about €180 for a party of 4 which was much more expensive than other meals we had in Marseille yet we did not walk away feeling like it wasn't worth it.
