I saw La Nautique and hoped that they would have an opening for a wandering traveler. I ordered whatever was fresh, caught here in the waters of Marseille - I have never tasted a better whole fish than here. Grilled whole with zucchini and peppers making a delicious ratatouille. Two glasses of rosé, and a beautiful view as the sun set over the port. I never caught the waitresses name, but she was so accommodating and friendly, and made me feel at home while I was alone.

She explained that the kitchen was open for dinner and to return after 3. Based on the Google reviews, I did just that. When I returned, the original waitress was no longer there but a wonderful woman who spoke English and French made me feel very welcome, translated the menu and made suggestions. I asked her to choose a wine for me and 2 tapas plates. They were both amazing. The service was 10 stars, for English, Spanish and French speakers. She also suggested sites around the city and was super helpful in selecting a wine. Great place!
