Very comfortable setting and a departure from typical local restaurants. Good Moroccan food.

Amazing food! Gorgeous set up…read more The portion sizes are generous, so start with one order and see how you feel before ordering the second. We ordered the lamb dish and their chicken tajin, both quite good. The chicken Tajin was on the salty side. Make sure to make a reservation because this place gets packed. We didn't have a reservation and luckily they had one table available in the shade outside. They open at 7, we got there at 7:10.

Set to an ever present background lounge music, we enjoyed it so much we went twice. The food was refined. From the reasonably priced (14-16E) suggestions du jour, we enjoyed the Lamb and Veal Chops, as well as some tasty Gambas and Plaice fish. Its address is officially 4 Quai de l'Epi; but, you need to find l'Esplanade du Nouveau Port (on the far port [left hand] side of the port). Nice touch: check the Adresse logo where the A and D combine for the jib and mainsail of a sailboat.

Now the things to beware: They start you on the terrace with a drink. Unclear if you are waiting for your table to be prepared, or if they are waiting on you to have a drink. For us, this turned into an hour long affair. For one single glass of wine. Next, the pace of service is very very slow. We ordered the seven course meal, and it was over four hours from start to finish. You're talking about 30min stretches between courses, and it just really drags on. A couple next to us left mid-meal because it was taking so long, and they couldn't stay. We were tempted to do the same, but stayed through the dessert course before we asked for the bill 3x.

They gave us a good seat upfront by the rail. We actually could have moved even closer towards the ocean, but were just too tired after the hike. My wife got a coke and I got a glass of wine. They gave us some snacks, see pictures. Limited foods in the bar seating area. We had to go downstairs to get the Michelin Star food. But we were just not that hungry, so we passed on lunch. We did watch the people below us eat. :) Beautiful plating and entrees, my pictures will not do it justice. Ambiance - Beautiful views. Both indoors and outdoors. Indoors had beautiful upscale decor. Clean restrooms with two outside sinks, thank you. Service - So professional and welcoming, not just to us but everyone here. We watched the team take care of all the customers that were coming in and out. Price - 23 Euros. $27US. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2003.
