The Parisian mushroom soup with leeks was refined comfort perfectly seasoned with poivre . Lot (monkfish) served over a fennel, celery, fresh pea risotto garnished with cilantro and again the perfect amount of poivre. The graduating levels of texture from the celery to fennel to peas to risotto to fish was impressive. The cilantro was an unexpected bite of delight. Dessert was blackberry sorbet over pineapple carpaccio with a refreshing delicate lemon sauce. Chef Karl adds deft delicate touches of unexpected delight and detail to the classic fare.
