    La Pera bare bones

Little story, I live not far from la Pera and just went there to order a seat for my softail The lady came outside to meet me and could not be nicer. Then the guy came out to take my order,an we decided on the bare bones diamond stitch with white Piping ,they said four to six weeks, could be sooner, and I got a call in less then four weeks!!! So I came that day on my way to San Francisco for work or I couldn't pick up till after the weekend. When I got there the guy came out with my seat, I wish I can remember his name, Anyway they forgot to put the fender brackets on, and he said I'll be right back,he comes back an said......do you Have about an hour, they are remaking a new seat right now!!! Amazing!!! I wis I could but I had to leave.so he said I will sent it to your house my the next day!!! When I got home the next day it was on my doorstep!!! They are a company that I wish we had more of!!! They really care about their product and business ,witch is Hard to find these days Thank you so much to la Pera you guys are awesome D

I have pushed my scooter miles and miles more miles than it actually ran on the road. Every single item had to be replaced one by one including fried wires & hoses. WARRANTY Was supposed to be covered per the original contract NOT TRUE, each time the mechanic had to come out I had to pay a fee of $50 plus the parts cost. Later to find out that the kind mechanic was never getting this money for his service. SHRAM Has spoken vulgarity to me, my disabled mother and my friends. He is a mean and nasty man and when I asked him "how do you look at yourself in the mirror and sleep well at night knowing that you treat your customers with enormous disrespect"?! and he replied "I sleep just fine"! Please reconsider doing business with this company called Fun Riders ... they should rename the business "not so fun walking your scooter more than it rides on the street".If I could give this rating a -10 it would be a no brainer! Shram just harassed via text today again.. attacking my review and threatening me. Also saying I have no God that looks out for me .. what the heck man?!? Total jerk! Who is he to question my faith and what God looks after me?!? Also while insulting me personally and threatening me I will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau

I was going up a small(i really mean SMALL) hill and the scooter turned off on me. He made me call the other vendor who he bought the scooter from. He said that this scooter cannot go up any hill. He brought it back a week later and told me that he fixed it. However the battery life after a full charge got cut off into half. I'm guessing he just disconnected the battery that wasn't working. Once the battery reaches half, the scooter just shuts down off on me. Now it won't even turn on. Now, the vendor is asking me 100$ for the scooter repair. Please, you will save way more money if you avoid this store.

It isn't this or that, it's this. Always quick to lend a hand as well on what the problem might be and how best to get it fixed quickly and safely. They are very knowledgeable about more than just the scooters they work on and are very open to discussing vintage rides of all types. They also live what they do for a living. They are avid riders so understand the needs of their customers which is a huge bonus. The recently moved into this new location which is a little better than the last one around the corner. Nicer shop area and separate work station area make it perfect to see what's being done while checking out the finished product at the same time. If there's one thing to remember though that perfection takes time. You can either have it fast (and wrong) or right (and safe). So stop by the new shop and say hello. It's well worth the trip.

In an industry where it's easy to feel taken advantage of, he was transparent, fair, and genuinely looking out for me--not just trying to make a quick buck. He took the time to explain everything, didn't upsell me on anything unnecessary, and made sure I actually understood what was going on with my bike. That level of integrity is rare. You can tell right away that Marius isn't just great at what he does--he's a great person. The kind of guy you trust immediately and know you're in good hands with. He's earned a customer for life. I couldn't be happier with the experience and I'll be sending everyone I know his way. Highly, highly recommend.

I wanted a communicative, honest and competent mechanic to work with me/my insurance and this was him!! Lemme tell you, Marius has his sh** together. The boy knows bikes and not only did he and his assistant fix all the broken things (including finding another shop's almost fatal mistake) but he also worked with me to customize upgrades that I wanted. He's knowledgeable, experienced, polite and flexible. I was always updated with progress with pictures and was asked thorough questions to be sure he was understanding my goals. Never did I feel rushed or taken advantage of and he was gracefully patient with me the whole time. Although there was no immediate rush as to a deadline, my bike was ready sooner than later. Handed him a bit of loose cash for doing extras I asked for which he almost refused, so he's one of these guys who appreciates a tip but doesn't expect one. But tip him, folks! The shop is tucked away and secure. He's busy with alot of bikes and things around but it's very organized chaos. Everything is clean and they take care not to damage anything. Overall 11/10.
