After the train ride from Paris and a nap, we set out to find dinner. I thought I wanted a crepe, so we picked Le Palais Gourmand based on that. We were seated right away.
After reviewing the menu, I was intrigued by the flambée. I got the country, which has potatoes, ham, onions and cheese. It was the first and best flambée I had the whole time I was in France. Somehow they managed to create a crust that stayed crunchy from start to finish.
My daughter got the framboise (raspberry) crepe. The way they prepared the raspberries was really good - not as sweet as jelly or as blended as compote.
My only regret is not ordering a galette too since I didn't find a good one during my trip and I bet theirs would have been good.
The place was super cute and the server was attentive. They have a QR code you can scan for an English menu. read more
