We opted for ham & cheese and banana flambéed with grand marnier. Their savory crepe had a different batter than the sweet crepe. Flavor wise it was adequate. One wish I had was to mix the two. The savoury crepes here are normally made from a combination of wheat and buckwheat flours. We wanted 100% buckwheat crepes because one of our party is gluten-intolerant and they were happy to make them for us. There is a large selection of both savoury and sweet crepes on the un-fancy menu, plus you have the option of requesting your own crepe fillings if you wish. The salad that accompanies the savoury crepes is fairly standard: red cabbage, carrot and lettuce. But you go to a crepe restaurant for tradition, not surprises.
