It was a great find at the town center of Eguisheim just besides the Saint-Léon IX Fountain. We were a bit concerned whether this restaurant was still serving warm food for lunch as we arrived here sort of late for our lunch. We noticed several other restaurants were already closed for lunch around 1:30 pm. We were so glad they were still serving warm lunch, and our food tasted very good (photos).
Service was very good. Our wait person even gave us a complimentary side salad perhaps because it was getting close to closing for lunch, but it was a very nice gesture nonetheless.
There were many tourists keeping busy around this restaurant...there was a stork nest with at least two chicks, ant it seemed everyone was stopping to take a photo of them. Aforementioned town fountain was a focal point of this unique and quaint medieval village. If you are in Eguisheim, you'll enjoy this restaurant. read more
