We had oysters and tuna tartare to start with - both were god, but lacked some of the finer details. The tuna tartare lacked seasoning, and the oysters were not loosened (if that is the correct term), which is no tradgedy, but still somewhat vexing. The main courses we had - tuna steak and tiger prawns with tomato and olive oil sauce and mashed potatoes with ginger, were excellent, especially the prawns. For dessert, we had the lemon tart and the goat cheese ice cream with myrte gel - thw latter was truly a revellation. Service was attentive, as you would expect from this kind of upscale place, but some of the waiters could do with a course in serving wines. At the prices they have, L'Auberge du Pecheur needs to get the details right.
