I believe from reading past reviews, the store has listened and improved. The massage chairs are up to date, the place is clean, and they are very nice with customer service. I wish they were a little more organized when it comes to appointments. Everywhere in Durango tends to do this, they let people make appointments, but they will accept everyone who walks in and you will wait for about 15-30 minutes to be seen whether you make an appointment or not. I didn't read any reviews before trying this nail salon. Every review is true. The salon has an "odd" vibe. Some of the products are OLD. I took this pic 4 hours after my deluxe pedi. (Not gel) The polish wiped off. I'm so disappointed. I hadn't had a mani/pedi in MONTHS! The lady tech (not the owner couple) was AMAZING. Having read the reviews, I was very skeptical to try Le Nails. Yes, my friend and I showed up and had to wait 30 minutes before our pedi's were started, but we had our feet soaking the whole time. I admire the owner's work ethic and the ownership she takes in her clients and her work. Once started, our nails and experience were fantastic. Sadly, I have had contact with several people who had wonderful experiences, but they don't use Yelp, so it isn't reflected here. My friend and I will be back without worry. read more

I have been here many times and they usually do a decent job. Today I was disappointed. I made an appointment and they made me sit and wait for 30 minutes after my appointment time. They left me with my nails soaking for 25 minutes. (Which is way longer than usual) Then at the end of my service I was told that I had to pay 65$ which confused me because I pay 55$ every time and get the same service every time. I appreciate how they were opened on a Sunday. Everyone there was super friendly but there were only 2 workers with 4 clients. I asked for a soak off and a full new set. The acrylic is cute but the lady who did them was going back and fourth between me and another client, which lead me having my hand in the acetone for about 45 minutes. This resulted in my cuticles, nail bed, & skin to become dry and fragile. And when she was laying the acrylic she was messy getting it on my skin which dried and harden on my skin. Harassment by owner and wife!! I was so scared!! After I waited 2.5 hours for an appointment I made on my one day off!!! They wanted to overcharge me by $15.00 before anything was done. Didn't even do the work but dipped my hands in something that made them burn and peel! Horrible!! Terrible! Worst experience of my life! Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced, the people who run this business seem genuinely put out by their clients. I have been on several occasions, brought in new customers for them, happily paid full price for all services and tipped generously, in hopes the would warm up eventually and recognize I was an ideal customer. Literally the WORST mani I have ever gotten. I got a full set with polish on top... The acrylic was lumpy as could be, he refused to give me the shape I asked for (I wanted long and rounded nails, I left with finger tip length square nails), 4 of the nails were not glued all the way and we're lifting same day and around my cuticle several nails are peeling and bubbling on day 3. I asked for matte polish on top and the under coast wasn't smooth, and the matte want even applied to the entire nail so it was splotches everywhere on top of the lumpy acrylic and the chunky base color nail polish.... I spent $40 at the salon and had to go spend another $20 buying supplies to fix them at home. They are not fixable. They look disgusting. I wish I hadn't been in such a hurry to fix them so I could've gotten a photo of the mess I paid for. $60 down the drain. Do. Not. Go to this salon. Worst mistake I've made in a while. read more

I've been going to this salon for over a year. I'm very serious when it comes to my hair and nails. So once I found someone to do a dip for me, and do it well, I remained a loyal customer. BUT they don't care abt the people. I walked out in tears one day because Christie, the one and only nail tech I've been going to for over a year, told me I should find somewhere else to go because THEY HAVE NO TIME for me. I 100% know I didn't not say or do anything wrong to this women. She has treated me horrible and she did the same to my husband for no absolute reason. I do not suggest the salon because they could careless abt you and it's not ever clean. Plus there's always kids running around and climbing all over the customers. I went in to get a manicure yesterday. She seemed upset that I asked. I wanted dip with tips on. She asked if I wanted clear??? Clear tips?? I was told to come back in 5-10 minutes. I did and waited a bit longer. A man started my nails. No soak, no cuticle care! I said I wanted dip over the tips. He used acrylic. I said Very thin as I wanted dip but he had already done 2! My mistake! They are horrible! He told me to pick a color and DISAPPEARED! The lady came over and rudely asked if I picked a color, I pointed to it and she demanded "What Number!!" Great job working 5 pedicures and 2 manicures on a Saturday morning and that's with only two people working.

I was visiting Durango on vacation and thought it would be fun to get a mani/pedi to celebrate a recent promotion. There was only 1 other review (and I didn't see any other shops with glowing reviews) so I thought "what the heck? I'll take a chance." I wish I wouldn't have. I didn't realize it was inside of a mall (mistake number 1). I arrived and was asked to pick out my color (pretty standard). The young woman who started on my pedicure was very delightful/chatty/personable, but I honestly don't think she knew what she was doing. At one point, I even asked her if she had gone to school for cosmetology (she said yes). She barely spent any time scrubbing my feet (I bet 15 seconds, tops) or massaging them. I paid extra for the higher level pedi (which included a stone rub and paraffin wax). Once again- almost zero time was spent on either of these (1 minute, max- no exaggeration). I was the only person in there, and while they had been busy that day, I was the only person getting a pedicure (so why the rush?) The entire thing felt rushed (which is exactly the opposite of how you want to feel during a mani/pedi or spa-type of treatment). The polish job is very poor and sloppy (I probably could have done a better job). The woman who did my gel manicure may have been the manager or owner (I'm not quite sure). She looked bored the entire time and did not once smile, look like she was enjoying herself, or engage in any sort of conversation with me. The water she gave me to soak my nails in was cold (and I even told her that but she shrugged it off). So far, my nails look fine (but we'll see what happens in a day or two and if they chip/peel). She also spent no time massaging my arms (I timed it- it was about 17-20 seconds each). At the end, my bill was $63 (which I felt was high, especially for the poor job they did). After I signed with my tip, I could hear her specifically telling the new gal how much her portion was (which I feel was unprofessional as I was still there and could overhear). While I did feel bad leaving a small tip, I just didn't feel that the service warranted anything higher (I left $7). read more

Salon was very unkempt and not clean. There was a very poor selection of nail polish and what they did have seemed old. The pedicure was very underwhelming. The young lady barely spent anytime at all. I was then directed over to a guy to do a regular manicure and it too was very brief. He only put on coat of polish. He was very rough and reeked of stale cigarette smoke. When I got home, I notice the polish had come off one of my big toes in a way that old polish doesn't adhere. I am tempted to go back and get a refund but frankly can't be bothered. read more
