As anyone else would do i began to panic. Since I work in midtown Manhattan , I decided to go on yelp and search fur repair before the situation became worst. I read the reviews and decided this is where I would bring my coat. I walked inside the building (it's in the same building as mood fabrics) they are located in the lobby. The location is the size of a bedroom with all kinds of furs from top to bottom. The old man that owns it is the nicest person ever. Anyway , he told me to remove my coat so he could get a better look at it. He said I can fix this right now as you wait. I let him know my break was only 20 mins . He gave me a loaner fur vest, so that I could walk back to my job. Returned back on my lunch break to retrieve my coat. He did such a GREAT job !! You cant even tell where the rip was . The fellow who "helped" me was blase, and not particularly knowledgeable. They also didn't have many styles. I found one coat I would have considered if they had my size. Supposedly another employee was getting it from a storeroom. We waited. And waited. The guy "helping" me walked off, oblivious and indifferent. So we left.
