We enjoyed our room with it's comfy bed and pillows, small sitting room and updated bath with refrigerator. It was lovely to stay in a home built in the 20's with original hardwood flooring. Lots of snacks and coffee plus sodas and juices in the break room made us feel right at home. The huge screened in porch overlooking the MS River is also a comfy place to hang out and relax. The Inn contains several trailers each with two full beds, shower, sink, microwave and T.V. The space is tight so if you decide to share with an messy roommate only then will you feel overwhelmed. The rooms are cleaned daily unless there is a Do Not Disturb sign posted. There is an onsite ice machine but you need to have your own container(s). Towards the rear of the lot is a gazebo for grilling to wooden tables. The only negative I encountered was the lack of a washer/dryer. As a result, the staff in the main office will wash your clothes(no matter how greasy/grimy) for $1.50 per pound. Since I work in an open air environment most of my Fire-Retardant uniforms are wet/greasy causing it to weigh more(Hmmmm?). Almost forgot, cash only on your laundry dues. Finally, if you pay weekly its $75 a night; If not it's $85.

My two critiques are that the AC unit blows right under the window and makes the curtains open up - be mindful when you're in the room! Also, wifi is not available in the room, only in the lobby. I'd stay here again when in the area. We left before breakfast so don't get to comment on that.

You can store your bags underneath the beds or in a rudimentary closet space. The bathroom boasts a full sized tub and shower. The sink is in the main part of the room. A coffee maker, small fridge/freezer combo, and microwave are provided. The a/c/heater combo works well. Make sure to bring your own coffee (ground), breakfast food, and a pillow if you like more than 1 or 2. The motel and area are still recovering from Hurrican Ida, but it was great to go fishing in the area again. We lost our camp during the hurricane, and this is the first time we have been back to fish. We will be back in the summer.

We got a standard room and they don't come with a fridge or microwave, which I consider to be standard. Now, the room neighboring us had a microwave cause I could here them using it... they also really loved repeatedly tearing foil off the roll. I'm short, even though we booked it for the night, we did not stay. We rather have drove the 3hours home instead of spending the night here. Staying at the Lighthouse hotel from now on.
