Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. Service was perfunctory, with the waiters mainly chatting at the bar. Waiter didn't bother to bring a slice of bread and butter to the table even though the fresh bread was sat on the table at the entrance to the dining area. Also didn't bother to bring the mineral water we'd ordered, instead leitungswasser. Had a salad entre which was a bit of a mish-mash of flavours, and a mains of mushroom risotto which was nice enough to save the experience from being outright terrible. Bill was a bit of a wipeout for what had been a pretty average experience, e.g. 55 euros for two people (with wine).
I should say that sometimes I am disappointed by these kinds of restaurants, which should at this price point deliver something more, but don't. Perhaps other people will find this place more to their liking.
The bottom line: This stands out as one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in Berlin. There are many places in the city that offer much better (or even similar quality) food for lower prices, and there are places in Berlin that offer a much much better experience for a similar price. Avoid unless you're bored. read more
