After some challenges finding a welcoming restaurant in this area of Paris (see review of Le Jockey). We were welcomed into Le Lithographe for a lovely lunch. The waitress was very patient and was very good with 3 English speaking Canadians with only Google translate and very basic french skills. She understood when I told her I had a Gluten allergy and was very good about helping us translate the menu. The Risotto crémeux aux Gambas (shrimp risotto) was excellent, as was the Os ā moé'lle gratiné au beurre d'estrouge (bone marrow) & salade de pouple, vinegrette aux cébettes (octopus vinegrette salad). Canadians feel welcome, even if your understanding of français is limited. read more
