A delightful lunch and a beautiful street corner it could've been in Montpellier itself. The waiter was delightful, and spoke fluent French English and Spanish. We had the salmon and shrimp empanada which came with a salad and your choice of either a glass of house wine or juice. We also tried to beef bourguignon empanada which came with the same. Both were absolutely wonderful. Both my picky 3 year old and my San Francisco foody husband loved them. We also shares a lunch special which came with your choice of appetizer either a salad with shrimp or a French onion soup or one other item I can't remember. Also included an entrée there were several choices ranging from fresh fish to be filet wrapped in bacon to french favorites like beef bourguinon. you also got your choice of sides including mashed potato purée, roasted potatoes which were excellent, or a chutney. For dessert you had your choice between ice cream with chocolate and berries, profiteroles or creme brûlée. We optes for the steak ordered "al punto" which came out a perfect mid rare. The food and restaurant coukd have been plucked from a street corner in Montpellier, France. A truly delightful afternoon meal. Highly recommend. read more
