In Nyon on the street Rue de Rive there are many different cafes and restaurants to choose from. We were very hungry and walked down the street and happened to stop in at this little place. When it is nice there is seating outside. I had heard that this place was good, especially for filets de perches and gambas grillees (grilled shrimp). On Friday, my husband's office mates all go to this restaurant as the plat du jour is filets de perches, which means you pay a bit less than you would normally. The menu is not only fish focused though, you could find something for everyone here. They had everything from a seasonal menu, to pizza, pasta, fish, and more. The space is narrow upon entering and appears to have been newly renovated. There is an upstairs area to eat as well. The staff were very friendly, they were dog friendly, and the prices met typical Swiss standards. I had a fantastic goat cheese salad, which I would definitely go back to have. Everyone had a different dish and no one was unhappy. I was pleasantly surprised. read more
