A few doors down from MacKay's is this compact and funky little kitchen store. I say compact because it's wall to wall with everything you've ever thought of needing for your kitchen, a probably a few you haven't. Wine and beer glasses from Riedel, Bohemia and Waterford, knives from Wusthof and Henckel, ceramics and cast iron from Le Creuset and Emile Henry and cookbooks from Julia Child, Best of Bridge and some obvious quirky titles (Recipes for the Modern Wife, Cooking with Booze) as well as tea and coffee machines from Bodum and Krups. Where Kitchen Boutique really shines is it's interesting gadgets and colours. Animal themes are in full force, window herb gardens, oils, vinegars, dips, rubs, even the muffin tins have themes. And if you're bored of stainless steel everything, I'm pretty sure I saw every usual kitchen gadget or utensil in at least 6 colours. Last, they have kitchen packages for every taste and budget. You'll need at least an hour in Kitchen Boutique, but with good reason. Besides, if you already made The drive to Cochrane, you have the time.

There's a great baking and decorating cake section, wine decanters and glasses, food, aprons, gifts, dishware... And I could go on and on. This is a happy place both for you if you like to cook/bake/entertain, as well as a great place for gifts in all price ranges! We bought some dinosaur cookie cutters for our nephew and can't wait to get them to him! We will definitely stop here the next time we are in Cochrane!

I called many times and even went into the store to have this remedied but never received an answer. Even if they would've apologized and couldn't fix it i would accept it but it seemed as though they wanted me to just forget about it and push my questions off to other people. When I purchase from high end stores I usually expect the customer service to be high end as well.

They seem to carry nice high end cook ware, pans, pots, knifes, all of which I know nothing about. They had some very cool kitchen accessories, pretty much everything you could imagine! They had some of the nicest measuring cups, I was very tempted! The prices all seemed reasonable for the quality of the items, they had cheaper options too. There was a corner that was dedicated to baking, all kinds of whisks, even sprinkles and confetti. I did find my apple cutter, they had 3 different ones, from $8 to 12. I think Happy Cooker is a great place to pick up a gift for any foodie friends you might have! I loved the selection they offered! If I ever become a better cook and need some better quality gear, this is definitely a place I will check out! The attention to detail Jade Stones fab team and installers had was incredible. The installer noticed our tub had a slight angle to the edge of the tub which was making installing around the tub difficult. He was not happy that the look would include a 1/8" gap and so invested 3 hrs in mitring each piece to create a beautiful seamless edge. The end product is incredible... I would absolutely refer this company!

Banbury Lane has a bunch of blankets, pillows, quilts, curtains, etc. They come in all different patterns and styles. It's pretty neat to be able to match your bedspread to your curtains. There is a lot of random stuff in this store, but that's what makes it interesting. I really enjoyed browsing the entire shop! It's such an interesting and different idea for a store!
