This was such an experience! Yes, there were some rather eye opening moments were body parts will show, but everything was done so tastefully. There were plenty of coordinated dancing scenes by the girls. There were surprisingly two guy performers as well. Beware of the lights as there are plenty of special effects and strobe lights to obscure body parts. If you're wanting to experience something like this but more of a local version then choose Le Crazy Horse. The alternative is more touristy: Moulin Rouge. Did the hubs and I have fun?! Yes! OMG! So glad I went and all the songs and performances are still stuck in my head, the decor is just fabulous to begin with, they even had a lipstick champagne glass! You can't record or take pics during the show and you won't even want to because every second is captivating. Staff is nice and the seats were super comfortable. A girl's night out in Paris at Le Crazy Horse was an experience. I know we were going back and forth between Crazy Horse and Moulin Rouge, but this experience was an intimate setting filled with sex appeal. The 90 minute show is a mix of cabaret and burlesque show with nudity. We made sure we booked about 7 weeks in advance where we were sat at a booth with 2 bottles of champagne that were included with our tickets. The show was filled with creative and artistic choreography that left you in a trance. The girls were gorgeous and the venue is aesthetically pleasing. We had such a fun time and even all bought a souvenir, which I purchased a poster to frame. Definitely no pictures or videos during the show here but you will be in for a colorful night! read more

My friends and I went to Le Crazy Horse during a Paris trip last month, and it was a really fun night out, a fantastic cabaret with dazzling acts and high production value. We opted to buy tickets that came with half-bottles of champagne and that was the correct choice. Nothing like some bubbly wine to make you feel festive instead of pervy while you watch nude dancing girls! girls! girls! We were told to arrive early to ensure decent seating, but we arrived just in time to check our coats and use the bathroom, and we got great seats in the second or third row. The emcee was a flamboyantly dressed man who approached his role with delight, and he was right next to us while he did his introduction. The venue was kitschy and over the top, with lips and breasts incorporated into the decor. The seats were comfortable and loungey, and we had a small table to hold our three glasses and an ice bucket with a bottle and half-bottle of champagne. The show was a genuine spectacle, with twenty remarkable numbers with distinctive music, choreography, and lighting. There were several exuberant group numbers, as well as solos and duets highlighting different performers. A couple of middle-aged men came in as the night's guest act. They were talented jugglers who did a comic, acrobatic strip dance but did not have the Magic Mike physique. The burlesque dancers were beautiful and performed almost naked like 70% of the time. Speaking as a straight woman, I found the nudity aesthetically appealing but not especially sexual. The vibe was very tongue-in-cheek ooh-la-la than and there was an intentional uniformity to the performers' bodies, as well as their wigs and make-up, that blurred their individuality and put the focus on their movements and artistry. I saw all these women without their clothes on, and I doubt I could've recognized any of them on the street a minute after the cabaret. The performers also had drag queen-like stage names that must help protect their privacy. Now that I think about it, the whole cabaret was more like a drag show than anything else I've seen, with talented performers disappearing into their personas. Everything, by the way, was in English, and it seemed like most of the crowd was American. Le Crazy Horse has a strong reputation in the States and has entertained many international celebrities over the years, all of their named listed on plaques on a prominent wall (we remain curious about the famous visitor with the mononym "Dave"). We still had a little champagne left at the end of the show, and we were able to finish it at the little bar area. We then visited the gift shop on the way out, where my friends bought a couple of cute souvenirs. We also wanted a picture in the lobby, and the staff was super friendly and indulged us with a whole mini photo shoot. Le Crazy Horse is probably not for everyone, but my friends and I were impressed and had a splendid time. If you aren't easily scandalized and enjoy some extravagant theater, check out this world-famous cabaret next time you're in Paris. read more

The good? Really unique and incredible experience. The acts were phenomenal. Here's the bad. The girl at coatcheck was INCREDIBLY rude. They force you to check coats/jackets, unless you plan to wear them throughout the show (you're not allowed to place it on the back of your seat). Totally fine and something they can put on a sign to manage the line. If I'm not checking my coat, why should I wait in that line? But, because there's no communication, the girl at coatcheck was getting agitated when people were leaving the line. Weird way to welcome people to an experience they paid over $100 a ticket for. They also only let you buy two tickets online, but we were a group of 4, so we asked to be sat together when we arrived. The house manager was able to accommodate us, but said "next time call us." Maybe let people buy more than two tickets? Maybe communicate this on your website? Finally, there are so many rules on when to get there, what to wear, etc. Yet, a lot of audience members didn't abide by this. Why all the rules then? Oh, fair warning that drinks are very pricey, although the service is lovely. I probably wouldn't go back because the entire experience is quite expensive, but it's definitely a must-watch show in Paris. read more

I would recommend this show to a select few. It's not for everyone and likely, not for most. To appreciate the presentation, one must be prepared to immerse oneself in the history of the cabaret as art. There are highlights and low lights to the show and, all of it is intentional. The show is not audacious nor is it lewd or lascivious. It is simply art and the performers are strokes of paint on a canvas. A-mazing! We came to this show many, many moons ago. On a recent trip back to Paris we had the time and thought we would check it out once more. Fantastic! It seemed better than we recalled. There was a loving MC with a wonderful voice and such a cheeky little vibe... he was quite good. All the ladies were immaculately adorned with minimal pieces and lighting. I don't think I have ever seen another show quite as tastefully done as this. Some other places feel sexual and gaudy but there is a true feminine sensuality that comes across with this show (even though the ladies wear pretty much nothing). They also added and Q&A section with one of the dancers and I think this is a really interesting addition because it humanizes the goddess you just previously watched and you understand how much work is put into the show and how much the ladies truly work. Lovely, lovely ladies up front really helped me out. I was on the phone with baggage claims because the airport had lost luggage and reasonably upset, Crazy Horse immediately changed my time to a later time that I could make and were very sweet. They mentioned something about a bonus but I didn't really understand what they meant until they brought me to sit right up front! what a lovely end to a horrible day. Once you enter, there's a reception to the left where you check in. Then you enter straight ahead down some stairs with lovely decor. At the bottom of the stairs to the left there's a boutique where you can buy various items. These range from BDSM paraphernalia to crazy horse replica wigs (shoulder length, straight w/ bangs in various colors), postcards, shirts, tote bags, etc. I bought a tote bag for I believe 20 euros and a postcard for I believe less than 5 euros. The tote bag is incredibly durable and cute. The front has a print of a generic crazy girl's face, then the back has the back of the head with the iconic haircut. Past the boutique there's a coat check. They'll give you a small square with a number on it to retrieve your coat when you return. Past the coat check to the right there's a small waiting area with instagram opportunities where you wait. For some reason none of the patrons formed a line - they sort of just stood in a giant crowd. Perhaps it would be nice to have someone there, or maybe some stanchion posts to keep people ordered although there isn't much space for that. At the end of the crowd/line there's a man who assigns your seat. He's a lovely singer! I believe there are 2 seats together throughout the space. It's a reasonably small space so I think everywhere you sit you'd get a good view just like the website says. Between the two seats you're sitting in, there's a small table with a menu and a container of ice where you might place any wine you purchase. No one, however, came to take my order. Perhaps it's necessary to flag down? It was alright for me b/c the prices were (of course) inflated and I decided not to order anything while inside the theater. While you wait, there's a man who walks around singing and entertaining and gives some announcements. Also, a photographer will come around and take photos. Later they'll come by during intermission with a copy of your photo (very large, nearly 8x10") and ask you to purchase for 10 euros. If you want a digital copy as well that's 20 euros. The show itself is magical - it's easy to see why it's lasted so long and why Beyonce shot a music video here. Well worth the price, I'd say. There are I believe 12 women in the show - there are several types of numbers where all women are present and dancing, and others where someone will come out solo, and still others where only a few will come out. There is music with each number and the ladies will often pretend to sing the lyrics to make it seem more realistic. There are some cheesy numbers where it's mostly just for showing off the body, but there are also some very difficult ones - like Cirque du Soleil with lingerie. There's also one number with 2 men who juggle while stripping although they were nowhere near as attractive as the women on the show. The numbers have a lot of interesting props which make things visually stunning including lighting, mirrors, rotating platforms, swings, etc. In my opinion the show gets better as it goes on. Crazy Horse is just outside the Eiffel Tower. I recommend eating/drinking before you come and trying to avoid eating/drinking in the vicinity as it will be very expensive. Also, uber pool is very cheap in Paris so I'd recommend that as a method of transportation - especially if you're going to the 11pm show, it might be safer than the metro. If you have metro tickets this will work nicely as well. read more

Went to see this cabaret show in Paris a couple of weekends ago. The process of getting in and getting seated is cumbersome. They have you corralled into the lobby on top of each other while you check in and then finally get escorted to a seat. Inside the place looks nice. Servers come around as well as photographers. I did not get anything when we first got there, but when they had a short intermission, I tried to get a water when I finally got a hold of a server and he never brought it to me. I ended up having to go to the bar on the next break to ask for one. As for the show, it was good. The women are beautiful and very talented, but it was a little on the slow side... which didn't help since this show didn't even start till 11:45pm. So by the time we left at 1:30am, we were exhausted! All in all... decent show, but it is pricey. Not sure how it compares with the other cabaret shows. read more

I was fortunate enough to see Dita von Teese perform at the Crazy Horse when I visited Paris for Spring Break 2016. The tickets came with a bottle of champagne with a special Dita label. Unsure if this often the case with other Crazy Horse shows. It was a neat inclusion but wish it had been optional because I don't drink often, hated to waste it, and would prefer to save the money. Overall though, the venue is very nice. Deep red curtains and seats and other dark tones of black throughout the room to set the mood. There may have been a candle on the table, but I could also just be creating a false memory, but that's the kind of vibe I remember having. I would suggest dressing up for it. I would say the it's nicer than casual wear. I work an all black outfit, so it was passable, but casual. I saw other people and couples dressed to the nines and wish I had done the same. I was very sick during this time though so I had no desire to put effort into getting ready for the evening. The dancers had ridiculously small bodies. I wouldn't say fit per se, although I'm sure they are, but I would just say they are thin/skinny. Perhaps this is the American and Mexican in me but I prefer girls with more curves. While I did find the dancers talented, fun, and attracted it would be cool to see a more diverse cast in size and skin tone. read more

And frankly, I thought it was a bit boring. I was looking forward to it ending. I don't understand how we were seated as we got there very early and they put us in the back. We were thinking that was maybe because we didn't buy their champagne. There was one guy in the show and you would think that they would bring on a male dancer who danced topless like the women. Like Magic Mike. However, it was a gentleman who was double jointed, and i found it really hard to watch him move all his appendages around and around. After watching Beyoncé's video (Partition) I had amazingly high expectations for this place... Pros: (1)You can say you went to Crazy Horse in Paris. (2) It was a nice atmosphere inside, and is in a great location (you are close to the Eiffel Tower) Cons: (1)The place is very overpriced. You pay €20 for a beer & €15 for a can of redbull after paying like €100 to get inside. (2)The show was just ok. It was classy. Not steamy or erotic. I don't know how, but they managed to make a stage of naked girls seem more like art than sex appeal. My suggestion? Just watch Partition on repeat for an hour and a half. A potentially charming show plagued by awful quality audio and an unauthentic old-fashioned appeal. The core allure of Crazy Horse are the women. Their bodies are the very definition of perfection, but unfortunately that's the best part. The nudity is handled far more tastefully than a strip club but the cost of admission implies more of a show. About half of the skit routines are actually interesting, but almost all of them are ruined by the inexcusably poor audio. Not so much due to low quality speakers, although the base and trebel we're quite lacking, but moreso by the old fashioned, poorly mastered music selection. To make matters far worse, the women lip sing to the music which is baffling since not a single person is being fooled even a little and it makes the performance cheap. I would assume the show aims to be light hearted and playful with tones of seduction and desire to some extent, however some of the girls are not fully comfortable on stage, while others are rigid and serious about performing their parts. The result makes you feel awkward since there's clearly no desire, and the last thing the girls want is to seduce anyone. Others move so sternly that it's rather pointless for any nudity at all. In a time when being original is a challenge, they do have several original and interesting elements, but the terrible audio and middle school stage presence of it all destroys any semblance of escape from reality or entertainment. All in all, the show was less than mediocre and not worth the duration of time invested. The old fashioned appeal wouldn't even satisfiy those that may be attracted to that era. It's a shame that they have great ingredients, but are unable to produce an entertaining show. Don't waste your time, just go to a strip club. It'll probably be quicker, cheaper and more satisfying. read more
