The New St. Emilion burger comes on a toasted French bun (square) with a hearty fried beef burger, cheese , lettuce, tomato and something very close to American bacon with red onion and shallots in a wine sauce with frites (thin fries) for about 16€. Yum! I like French food as well as anyone but was craving something well, a little less French after a week in France and this hit the spot perfectly. The wife ordered a pasta with veggies. The mushrooms especially were superb. I was full after eating my dish but had to eat some of of hers it was so good. Finally we got an excellent tiramisu served with a side of chocolate crumbles and vanilla ice cream. I see most of the reviews are for lunch but i highly recommend staying in town and giving this a try'. Strolling the pedestrian streets was delightful. I especially enjoyed the terrace of the relais chateaux hotel Hostellerie de Plaisance. I loved their terrace with a beautiful view of the area.
