They have a variety of coffee options that you can choose from if you want pour over. They also have special espressos (limited availability) that they advertise. So we gave it a shot. They have a menu with a few different options to choose from, and every item has a title like "original", "special", or something like that. I went for the classic Espresso and my friend decided to try the one with extra milk. We both loved our coffee, but I didn't find anything spectacular about it. I mean it was simply some good brew. And the treatment wasn't anything special either. However, the reason we went to a coffee place in the first place was to be able to sit down at a table and chat, but this place was too small and didn't have tables for sitting down. In fact if there are more than four of you, you probably won't fit comfortably inside the shop. Do I recommend this place? Well, if you're on the run and wanna have a nice cup of coffee to go, and you don't mind paying a little more than the usual, yeah, why not.

We were seated in the small downstairs dinning...cave, nook? Probably better to say nook. Ok, we were seated in the dinning nook at once. They have a rather extensive menu for a little coffee shop. My wife and I enjoyed their fluffy fruit topped pancakes and spicy yet flavorful Aussie chicken and waffles with a poached egg. My goodness! Both were delicious and perfectly proportioned. Additionally, we had the lemonade, which was more tart than sweet, and a lavender latte, very aromatic. Overall, still a great all-natural coffee place with a unique culinary personality that just got even better. Make sure to get a reservation if you want anything more than a to-go item. Enjoy!

The chicken and waffles were also good, but just know they are not your traditional American-style chicken and waffles. This version has an Asian twist with lightly battered chicken strips and a chipotle aioli sauce, which gave the dish a unique flavor. The main seating area is on the lower level with several tables, but since it's a basement, there isn't any natural sunlight. If outdoor seating is available, that's definitely the way to go. Overall, a good spot if you're looking to try something a little different.

Overall: 5 stars…read more Small but vibrant brunch shop that opens earlier than the rest in Madrid, at 8:30a. I thought the menu was quite expansive from quick barkery bites to larger savory plates as well as sugar-forward options for those with a sweet tooth. (Waffle Board: A) - Was initally hesitant to order as I thought it was a massive spread, but I found it to be just right with petit sized waffles and all the fix ins. The fruit is fresh, and theres every pairing you could ever want from syrup to nutella to peanut butter to yogurt. This is a cute hipster cafe with friendly service, located just steps from our hotel the Barceló Emperatriz. During our 2 visits here, we tried the eggs Benedict, the breakfast sandwich, and the pancakes. Everything was delicious! My favorite was the eggs Benny though. The eggs were perfectly poached, and the greens on the side made the dish feel lighter. Loved the coffee served in those big cozy cups. Service was slower than here in the states, but honestly still pretty fast. I fully expected to come in here and take my time. The atmosphere is lovely and the people working here are so nice. Bonus: they have free wifi!
