We had a line of about six people before the doors even opened! The service was super friendly and welcoming from the moment the doors opened! The coffee was really good. I haven't had coffee this good in a while. The shop has tons of baked goods. It all looked yummy. I didn't grab any, but man, it looked amazing. The vibe inside was nice. Great music streaming and people were in a great mood. I definitely recommend this spot. I wish this shop were in my town! Our waiter arrived shortly and took our drink orders and left us menus. He returned with my coffee and our waters. We placed our order for breakfast. I ordered a biscuit with sausage gravy, two over easy eggs and two crisp strips of bacon. The wife ordered two pancakes. Our food arrived in a reasonable time, served piping hot. BTW my coffee was very good! A couple things I've learned down here in The Valley: they don't really do biscuits and gravy very well and they don't know how to make GOOD hash browns. Their biscuits aren't fluffy like back home to begin with and then many times they slice them into thirds so you get these thin little slices. Just not my favorite. The sausage gravy was OK. Nothing special. They did cook my OE eggs and crisp bacon perfectly, so on balance it was good. As an added bonus, on Monday and Tuesday if your breakfast is $10 or more, the coffee is free. So I got free coffee. Coleen's pancakes were nothing special in fact, I took a bite and while the flavor was good, they were a little on the tough/chewy side. We'll definitely come back and try some other menu items. The price was totally reasonable - $18 including tax.
