We had a lovely dinner here last night. They offer an a la cart menu as well as a 3 or 4-course pairing. Mimsy got the onion soup as an appetizer, beef bourginon as her main course, and a little chocolate cake as dessert. I started with escargot, then the beef, dessert was creme brûlée. We split a bottle of Fixin (finally learned how to properly pronounce the name of this medium-bodied Red Burgundy). Our server had a good command of English and was very attentive. The food was good overall. What is really special about this place is the atmosphere, it is astonishingly gorgeous. The dining room is in the former wine cellar of this thousand-year-old monastery. read more
