The menu prepared wasn't particularly appealing to me but the stars of the lunch were the Seabass and chocolate mousse cake....absolutely phenomenal. We were offered an artichoke with anchovies and the anchovy overpowered the artichoke. The chicory tart with bleu cheese walnuts and bacon was mildly successful. The service was outstanding and the Red wine was another winner. I looked at their dinner menu and they have some lovely pre fixe meals for $32 and $40 euro which looked wonderful.

After it was poured , we all took a sip - that's when my friend discovered that he had just plunged his mouth into a cobweb . We called the waitress , who went to the manager. She came back and gave us this inane excuse that since the season was changing and people were sitting indoors now , they were using a different set of glasses ( the conclusion I got was that none of our glasses had been washed for six months ) . Then she shrugged her shoulders and poured my friend's wine , cobweb and all , into another glass . We asked for the manager. He was too busy circulating around the room and welcoming his friends and completed ignored us . We were not looking for remuneration, a simple apology from him would have been adequate . But as the French say : c'est dommage !
