She came back and gave us this inane excuse that since the season was changing and people were sitting indoors now , they were using a different set of glasses ( the conclusion I got was that none of our glasses had been washed for six months ) . Then she shrugged her shoulders and poured my friend's wine , cobweb and all , into another glass . We asked for the manager. He was too busy circulating around the room and welcoming his friends and completed ignored us . We were not looking for remuneration, a simple apology from him would have been adequate .
