A M B I A N C E This is the perfect little spot to grab a coffee and breakfast or brunch snack. This is not your fancy sit down restaurant. It's a cute little cafe. They sell some artisanal jams/jelly at the back but their coffee is AMAZING! The best place in the Sud-Ouest to get an almond milk cappuccino (says my boyfriend... I'm allergic to nuts so I just take his word for it). There's a little standing bench right outside so if the weather is nice head out there. There's light music playing, and people on laptops working away. The only downfall is that it only opens at 8am during the week... So you can't grab a coffee before work... C L E A N L I N E S S Each table is neat and tidy with water bottle, sugar, salt and pepper and some cutlery. It's a very cute and clean coffee shop. O V E R A L L Q U A L I T Y I ordered a latte and a croissant. The croissant was good, very fluffy! But I came for the coffee! Honestly their coffee is so yummy! Would definitely recommend grabbing a coffee and staying or walking around Centre Street! C O S T Latte $4.20 W A I T T I M E S I ordered my food and drink at the bar and sat down right away. It took a couple minutes to make the coffee but it arrived right away! No wait time! P A R K I N G Street parking on Centre and side streets. L O C A T I O N On Centre and Jardin (because a garden blooms ) right across the street from the pet shop Pawse Boutique.

Great little brunch place.. healthy and defiantly a family place. When I say family I also mean strollers and kids.. lots of them! That ok it's quite nice to see mothers and fathers going out for a nice breakfast with the kids. Not too sure about safety though.. the ramp inside is convenient for wheel chairs and strollers but dangerous when walking around. I stumbled a Couple of times on the edges. They should put a rail on the sides.. the coffee is quite good. I ordered the waffle plate. It's tender and drizzled a few fruited (I'd expect a little more). The quinoa bowl was great and highly recommend. It comes with a soft boiled egg, sweet potato and this awesome hummus (a little more would have been nice) I would have dunked some fresh bread in that sauce. The service was polite but slow.. very slow.. I'd defiantly go back and try the lunch menu..

An amazing (and filling) brunch. Everything is extremely filling and fresh. The atmosphere itself is also energizing. If you have a chance, stop by! We got the Big Bloom breakfast and the Skillet.

Hidden gem in pointe at Charles. Cute and cosy decor. Homemade healthy style cooking, try the ratatouille tartine plate: delicious and healthy choice. Great selection of organic teas. That's all you need to know!

I went to Café Bloom by car because it is quite inaccessible through public transport, and I had quite a high expectation for the place because of its ratings. The location is quite close to Victoria bridge, which attracts some people from afar, otherwise it's really a local café that serves the community nearby. The service was a bit slow but the waitress was nice and friendly. The decor is cute and artsy, with some plants and books and simple tables, highlight is the mosaic counter that looks quite exotic. I wanted to see some of their latte art but didn't get any, and the coffee is very average. Tried their homemade ice-cream sandwich but was a bit disappointed because the cookie is too hard. I find that they have a quite diversified menu, many of their lunch options are Asian food, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, etc. Whereas their brunch, only available in the weekend, is more Western food like waffle, toast etc. If you happen to be in the area, pass by to try but going there on purpose is maybe too much.

I came here for breakfast and I was surprised by their menu. They include many types of food from eggs and waffles to bibimbap (Korean food). I ordered the waffle dish with fruits and syrup and I got full. Reasonably priced.

Great cozy spot for a cup of coffee in Pointe St-Charles with a good and varied brunch menu as well; from eggs to pancakes and breakfast bowls too, all locally sourced and fresh! Tried the tartine made of scrambled eggs with herbs on rye bread with oystermushrooms and parmesan, served with mesclun salad and coleslaw: delicious! Service was a bit slow for a busy day but would definitely stop by again!

Very cute breakfast/brunch/lunch place I had the Croque Epinards, Almond Croissant and Pancakes. All amazing!

Loved to stumble upon this big bright comfy clean cafe today. A friend had messaged me about it saying it was one of her favourite new finds in her neighbourhood, but I hadn't really made a mental note of its location and then BAM, comfy couch beneath me, delicious coffee in hand, amazing smells in the air from the good food cooking, I had found it! And I'll be back for sure. It's spacious and smiley enough that I wouldn't feel bad making good use of the wifi there for a good long while. Plus I love that you can see the big open kitchen in the back, and I love the pretty wooden rocking horse and other kids toys. Generally a dear spot that I hope experiences all the best success.

Wow! Their chicken sandwich is one of the best I've had in Montreal. Absolutely delicious and worth a stop in this very chill cafe vibe.

Great place in PSC. The food is very good, decent size and well priced. Good place to go with kids. Only downside, only cash or debit.

Great, friendly service. Great coffee. The waffles are probably the best I've ever had. Crispy outside, fluffy inside.

Had a wonderful meal here. Linguini Alfredo with Chicken and Bacon. Served with a glass of house…read morered wine I couldn't have been more pleased and all for $26ca.

While this is still Fresh Juice in my mind, let's get this one down…read more I've been here maybe 3 or 4 times over the years and each visit just leaves something to be desired. (Why it seems I only have 1 actual check-in for it is beyond my understanding, mayhaps it has been so long since my previous visits that I was still a newbie Yelper and thought check-ins were lame*...) My rating is actually 3.5 stars rounded up for just really super sweet service. *Check ins are not lame FYI ... I realized u could win badges, dukedoms and baronies and yes, even kingdoms when u do check in to places. Some places even offer a special Yelper treat (like 10% off or a free shot or 2 for 1 - if they actually honour it is a whole 'nother can of worms) when u check in. Plus it's kool to show a place u r it's regular ;) It's a kyoot lil bistro type set up with terrasse in the summer, a bit cramped-feeling, however nothing overwhelmingly claustrophobic. Slightly too many tables for the space but necessary due to popularity. What I really dig about this place is the local art work on display, gorgeous photographs framed and hanging from the walls may make you want to hover over stranger's tables to get a good look. There are 2 bathrooms which seem to serve the space appropriately, but make sure you knock! For some reason patrons here enjoy using the facilities with the door unlocked which caused a couple of embarassing moments for my friend when both bathrooms were occupied, yet not locked. Because it has been so long since my previous visits let's stick to yesterday's, which is more or less representative of a typical visit. We were greeted ever so sweetly and they let us choose a nice table near the window for 2. We checked the specials board: a must-do when you come here, nothing interested me, but my friend ordered the Frittata Special. I chose the Hummus entrée with veggies and pita because my appetite has been fairly absent these days. Our waiter was quite generous and offered me to have the coffee included in my friend's frittata special (because she only wanted the OJ included). The coffee was never refilled, but I couldn't complain really 'cuz I didn't hafta pay for it in the first place. My hummus entrée was quite generous in portion actually, thankfully because at 9$ it damn well better be. There were lotsa veggies on the plate too which I highly appreciated. The pita was ok nothing special, there was plenty of it, but I ended up eating more veggies than pita. The hummus, homemade if I understood correctly, is absolutely delicious, different from most hummus yet still very much enjoyable. The cucumber and peppers seemed a bit on the precut-or-about-to-go-bad variety imo, my friend said they were fine, but they were slightly too slimey to be fresh cut and/or fresh produce, I felt. Also they chopped these huge wedges of carrot which I didn't touch because they were way too thick to be tempting. Carrot sticks or baby carrots would be a better option. I remove a 1/2 star for this aspect of questionable freshness and oddly chosen cut of carrot. The rest of the menu didn't really interest me in the sense that I wouldn't willingly pay those prices for those menu items. There were very limited options under 10$ and all in the entrée section (so if you're not too hungry don't come here 'cuz there's not many affordable munchie type items). Lotsa sweet brunch options (pancakes crepes etc), not much in terms of bacon and eggs type stuff, if that's what you're looking for this isn't the place. So pricing and choices is where I remove a whole star. This is a place I don't mind going every once in awhile because service is great and the food tastes good, but the questionable freshness with those prices makes it so I don't want to come often and can't understand why people make this a regular choice when there are better, cheaper choices very nearby. I must add that I don't have much of a sweet tooth (and especially not for breakfast) so this brunch option may be more tantalizing for those who do.
