I just simply love the name of the restaurant; it's very poetic. I was just passing by to pick some pastries. The service was super sweet and amiable. We got few chocolatines. I decided to stop in and check out their offerings after reading their story in the local paper. The shop itself is cosy and super cute with beautiful wooden tables and chairs, stencilled wording on the walls, and clocks everywhere, playing on the name of the store. The back of the store holds the kitchen where you can see the chef preparing the pastries and baked goods. The display of cakes was quite impressive; everything looked beautiful. They also had their pastries on display including muffins, croissants and biscotti. I ordered an almond milk latte with a chocolate-almond croissant. That croissant was delicious! Nice pastry and the filling was super generous and so moist, I had to hold myself from buying a second. The coffee was very nicely prepared, good espresso base and the almond milk was perfectly tempered. I noticed they also offer salads, soups and sandwiches which I will definitely try for lunch sometime. I especially liked the friendly and great service; they really made me feel welcomed and that's exactly what I like about a neighbourhood cafe. I am grateful for this new addition to the 'hood: perfect coffee, delicious pastries, great quality and personable service. I look forward to my next visit!

Service was great and fast as it was a busy day I was amazed. Food was also good and tasty. I love their menu because of the cool, funny and original names given to each meal. Very creative. Now I know they have a few locations around the city that I would love to try. But thumbs up for this one.

As someone who has been reviewing restaurants for over 11 years, I was really disappointed with my…read moreexperience here. I came in specifically to try their lunch special that I saw advertised on Instagram a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, potato salad, and soup. The photo they posted showed a generous portion with plenty of cream cheese. Unfortunately, what I received was completely different from what was advertised. The bagel had barely any cream cheese honestly it looked like almost none at all. I even politely mentioned it to the waitress because I thought maybe they had forgotten to add it. She spoke to the kitchen, and I clearly saw one of the chefs (a man with a beard) look over and say "that's enough cream cheese." There wasn't even a small container or extra on the side. What made the situation worse is that it seemed like the owner was sitting in the back on a computer and saw the interaction, but nothing was done to address it. The waitress simply came back and said, "that's just how it is." The potato salad was also very underwhelming and lacked flavor. After coming home from vacation, all I wanted was a simple, comforting bagel with cream cheese and salmon something Montreal is known for. Sadly, this experience did not deliver that. What you see advertised online is not what you get, and because of that, I unfortunately won't be returning to this location.
