Jodi is the bomb.com! Jodi was always quick to reply to my texts and emails before the shoot. On the day of, when I arrived I was really nervous! But Jodi talked me through the outfits and her bubbly personality really made me feel at ease! I am a wedding photographer and feel weird being on the other side of the lens, but Jodi made the experience super easy! She knew the exact angles and really talked me into the poses. My experience was amazing. Jackalyn was great. She knew exactly how to have me pose to look my best. Also, thank God for Photoshop! Curvy girls have to look great too and they really nailed the final product. My husband loves the photos so much he want's to show them off. I purchased a little black book with 20 images. I will say that I wish I would have ponied up for a larger package so that I had more sets and outfit options. But hey, live and learn right? This experience was wonderful! We were a little unconventional (a photo shoot with my partner) but Jodilynn was extremely helpful and open to our ideas. She was professional and her studio is amazing. I have to also say that her team was amazing. My photos came out more beautiful than I ever thought and I am so excited that I get to have those images of us forever. While at a party, my good friend gushed about her boudoir session at Le Boudoir Studio, & was so eager to show us her photos. She looked phenomenal. Sweet & sultry all at once. If one argued that such a thing was not possible, she would have proven them wrong. I was blown away by how happy - bordering on giddy - my friend looked. As she showed her pictures, she radiated self-confidence; the kind of self-confidence that I believed came from speechless significant-others whose eyes had been glued to an image of their sweets. As for myself, who I must admit was so self-conscious of her own physical appearance to a fault, I called Jodi the next day to set up a session. How awesome it would be to look at my own photos & feel the way my friend did. I showed up for hair &make up with a ridiculously large grin on my face born out of sheer terror & nervousness. I wondered to myself: will they use enough make up to cover my blemishes? I hope they can airbrush out my tan lines. Be careful to suck in my tummy AT ALL TIMES! I was a silly girl. The photo session was filled with smiles, giggles, &wide eyed looks accompanied with "oh wow!" as Jodi intermittently showed me photos of myself. The "bubbly" that Jodi made available was not at all necessary as my anxiety had dissipated to a laughable memory. I returned two weeks later for a preview of the photos, expecting to see the fabulously steamy vixen that I saw myself as after leaving the session. I knew the photos would look amazing, but I wasn't prepared for what I would actually see. I was expecting to see "me" plus perfect hair, make up, professional lighting & photography; but rather, I saw only "me". I saw myself having fun, smiling, laughing, & being truly beautiful. Who cared about blemishes? My tan lines were endearing, & my tummy looked awesome even though I forgot to suck it in. I looked at myself & loved who I saw in a way that I hadn't experienced before. I adored my more innocent poses, & happily blushed at the brazen forwardness of others. The concept of "dressing up" for boudoir sessions has the connotation of pretending to be something that one is not. My experience with Jodi Lynn has been the exact opposite. The "me" that I saw in the photos was naked (literally & figuratively!) I saw a "me" that was free from social norms, distorted self-esteem, & a self-imposed negative body image. That "me" is more real, liberated, & genuine, & it continues to exist long after my boudoir session. Jodi & her team are personable, fun, kind, & examples of beautiful, self-confident women; & I wonder how much of my new found levels of self-confidence came from just being around their example, with or without photos :) P.S. I showed the photos to my husband while waiting in line at the drive-thru, & he was so captivated by the book that he almost rear-ended the car infront of us! P.P.S. The lady that did my hair and make-up was super nice. I was very nervous and didn't know what to expect. I felt very rushed by the photographer and I wasn't given enough time to think outfit and pose choices through. The photos came out ok but for the amount of money that I spent, it was not worth it. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!!! Le Boudoir Studio!!! Warning - this is a long review. My husband has begged me for years to get "sexy" photos taken and I have made up excuse after excuse as to why I wouldn't. I felt like I wasn't in shape enough to do them etc... Fast forward to April 2016, my 20th wedding anniversary and no idea of what to get my husband.. until my daughter recommended Le Boudoir. I was not in "shape" according to what I had in my mind, but being under the gun for a gift, I booked my appointment for 3 days later. I was so nervous as I walked in - but then I met my photographer (ANGEL behind the camera in my eyes) Miss Sylvia! She was so kind and helped me calm down. I then met Erica (beauty artist extraordinaire) She was also incredibly sweet and kept me relaxed. I sat in down her chair and the FUN BEGAN! I felt like a supermodel, my makeup and hair were done far beyond what I ever envisioned I could look like! Miss Sylvia reviewed the outfits I brought, helped me coordinate and even provided accessories for me to borrow. Then the photo shoot began.. I am an awkward photo taker but didn't feel at all awkward with Miss Sylvia. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! I walked out of the Studio feeling like my confidence had increased 10 fold. My friend and daughter quickly booked their sessions after hearing my excitement. My photos were a COMPLETE SUCCESS with my husband. HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES MY PHOTOS! This experience was one of the best experiences that I have had. My husband and I have seven children, and I have had 5 of our kids biologically, so needless to say, my body has gone through some changes.  In spite of those changes, though, my husband still makes me feel beautiful every single day and I wanted to find a way to thank him.  I was hesitant and nervous about posing for intimate photos (this was a first for me), but I knew it would be something my sweetheart would cherish.  From the first moment I entered Le Boudoir Studio, the ladies there made me feel completely comfortable.  Jodi Lynn (photographer) and Erica (makeup and hair) were so genuine and friendly.  The whole experience was positive and surprisingly liberating. Jodi, Traci, and their team are AMAZING. I have had the opportunity to have two shoots done here with both Traci and Jodi, and they are both such special people. You can truly tell that they care and love what they do, and it shows in their work! I have never felt so comfortable and beautiful in my life! I was so nervous each time, but as soon as you walk into the studio and get to work, Jodi and Traci make that all disappear. You honestly feel like you have known Jodi and Traci your entire lives! You have the option to get your hair and make up done, I have chosen that both times. Their makeup artists are amazing as well!! I was first introduced to Le Boudoir Studio through a friend who invited me along for her shoot. It was a blast being "the friend," but after two babies and going through a divorce I thought how fun it would be to be "the model." So I booked my shoot that day! In what could be a very uncomfortable situation, Jodi and her team made me feel extremely comfortable. I was nervous when I arrived but even just the welcome greeting that I got at the door made me feel slightly more at ease. The studio is clean, inviting, beautiful, and professional. Most all reservations disappeared when I looked in the mirror after Erika had completed my transformation through hair and makeup. When Jodi came in, she made me feel at ease with her kindness and friendly, fun attitude. She made me feel like we have been friends for a long time and were doing nothing out of the ordinary.
