There were more than 20 beers available on tap and in cans. We tried several and all were great. I really liked the imperial stout. We ordered some pizzas that were pretty good. Maybe the trust could be a little less floppy but it was good. Table service was ok. When we first got there there was only one guy working and he was hopping. At 5:00 more workers showed typo which was great as the bar was getting more customers. It was about a 20 minute taxi back to the hotel. This was very good beer so I recommend you jump in a cab and head to Avant Garde.

It's dark, warm and woody like most brew pubs, with a chalkboard menu showcasing a couple of delicious in house beers and a couple other local brew selections and some small tasteful tasty snacks. The hoppy sour wasn't my favourite but the raspberry sour was really great, and the list in general was well-balanced when I was there - cool sours, classics IPAs, stouts, a blonde - really something for everyone. Super friendly cool staff, chill local crowd, slightly punk vibe making the brew pub less folksy and twee, less hipster and more appropriate to the surroundings. Really dug it and loved exploring this area a bit more in the light of the setting sun, with the end of summer in the air.
