There were more places open on New Year's Day than on Christmas Day, one of them being Le 3 Sorelle (The 3 Sisters), but all of them were packed to the gills. Le 3 Sorelle has only a couple of table inside and they were taken, but there were a couple open on the sidewalk, so I grabbed one. They had a couple standing propane space heaters, but they were not on and it was a teensy-weensy bit chilly on this early January evening, but at least I could get some chow. The service was not friendly, but they were busy, so I will give them that. I did have to wait about 15 minutes for someone to take my order and, even then, I had to make eye contact and indicate that I was ready. In the interim, a group of seven Italians arrived (well after me) and already had their drinks before I had even ordered, so they must have been VIPs. It was late by American standards, around 10:15PM when I got there, so I was hungry but wanted something quick. What better than pizza Napolitana which takes just 90 seconds to cook in a wood-fired oven? Well, it took another 10-15 minutes to bring my 1/2 liter of vino rosso della casa (house red wine - €7) and at least another 15 minutes to get my pizza. OK, they were busy. I ordered the pizza "Terra" (€7 or $8.50 - "ground/earth"), my favorite pizza with friarielli (broccoli rabe sauteed in olive oil and garlic) and sausage, but in this case they used provola, a local smoked, soft cheese similar to mozzarella in consistency, rather than the more traditional fior di latte (fresh mozzarella made with cow's milk). The pizza was hot and good, but a little "olio piccante" (hot, spicy EVO flavored with peperoncino), which you cannot find in other parts of Italy by the way, added some extra flavor and heat. I was neither happy with having to wait so long to order, being ignored over other arriving guests, nor the long wait for the wine and pizza, but the pizza was very good. The prices were also much higher than other comparable, small pizzerias and trattorias in the area with the pizza being about €2 ($2.40) more than elsewhere and the wine about €4.50 ($5.45) more expensive, so my meal was not a great value either. With the additional €1 ($1.20) coperto (cover charge), my total came to €15 ($18.10), making this place, by Neapolitan standards, rather expensive and otherwise pretty "average" ... cosi cosi (so-so). I will be somewhat more generous in my rating than I normally would be just because they were open on New Year's Day, they were very busy, and the pizza was pretty good. Excellent server, lots of personality. Special American bow-tie pizza with complimentary glasses.

Great overall experience. Flavorful food. We had the server pick out our food and he did an excellent job for not knowing us & speaking minimal English. I would recommend eating inside (winter now) it's cold and noisy. 1-server/customer service 2-delicious food 3-nice environment 4-variety food & drink selection -1 price

I really like this place. We ordered a seafood pasta and a ham pizza. The seafood is fresh and it's tastes really really fancy. The pizza is good but not the best in town. I wanna recommend the pasta.

I'm not a retard and can clearly see that they didn't indicate that this deal is only on certain days. Note my pizza on top.

BEWARE!!!! I went into this place because they had a huge sign outside saying pizza, drink, and cover charge included for 5 Euros. I went inside and told the waiter I wanted the 5 Euro deal and he said okay. As I'm drinking my soda they brought out a fairly large pizza for 1 person. I knew this wasn't going to be 5 Euros... He told me it was going to be 8.50. I told him their sign clearly said 5 Euros. He said that's not for Sundays-when I went (I took a photo of the sign and no it doesn't say anything about the day or time). I said that I would just be buying the soda then (I hadn't touched the pizza). There was a lot of talking back and forth in Italian between the waiter, the cashier, and a nice young couple helping in translating. A few people were staring at me. This was also my last day in Italy and what little cash I had was going straight for a cab. They told me that they would let me pay on credit card.... I'm sorry. I don't like being ripped off whether it is 10 cents or 10 dollars. I'm not letting people get away with that and thinking I'm stupid and won't say anything. Eventually they just said fine 5 Euros but that I would then have to leave and they would box up the pizza. I said fine and left. As far as the taste, it was okay. I found the pizza in Florence better despite pizza being invented in Naples. Here the margarita pizza is basically dough with tomato sauce and a few slices of mozzarella. It isn't covered in cheese. Maybe 10% of my pizza was covered in cheese. It tasted exactly like the pizza you can make from Trader Joe's..... Get the dough from them, stretch it out, put on 2 layers of tomato sauce, and slice up a few slices of buffalo mozzarella and there you have Napolian style pizza. The waiter that did this to me has his picture on here so if you go here, look out for him...He may actually be one of the owners. Not sure. I found their Facebook page and they have at least 2 "deals" I could see with the offer I saw and again, there is no mention of specific dates and times. The guy has a ton of pictures on there too. I have included a picture of the sign that got me in the restaurant. Nowhere does it indicate when this offer is available. I feel like the waiter attempted to take advantage of me being a blonde American woman with big boobs. I just do not want others to go through what I went through. I had 3 people rip me off or attempt to rip me off during my 2 week trip in Italy... 1- the guy at 3 Sorelle 2- a bus worker in Perugia who said he was going to take me to the police if I didn't give him 30 Euros (he was successful....I had to catch a train that was about to leave. He pocketed the money as he never ever took my name or asked for identification....I emailed the bus authorities but they are probably corrupt too...Perugia was the city that kept Amanda Knox locked up....They clearly love Americans...) 3. bought a bus ticket somewhere and they gave me back the incorrect change As much as I love traveling and Italy, I'm glad to be in America!!! MERICA!!!

They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.

Every slice was flavorful, well balanced, and unmistakably Neapolitan, with each one bringing something a little different to the table. We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.
