This store has moved a bit and is now on Market street. The…read morefacade is different from other LCBO as it has a brick finish (I assume it is to blend in with the St. Lawrence market across the street). However this can be a bit confusing as at first I couldn't figure out where the entrance and exit for this place were. The inside of the store is also odd as the ceiling has an unfinished industrial look. Surprisingly the lighting is quite dim. The space is much bigger than the tight, narrow store it replaced. There is decent variety of beer, wines etc. The Lineups were also a bit long. I would use this spot as a quick pick and go spot. If I want to spend time I would go to the flagship cooper street location.

This store is one of those locations where you go in, order and they roll it our to ya via the rails. Good selection considering such a small store front. Sometimes, it gets super slow. 2 counters on the left side and 1 on the right. The right side is mostly used for returns, but more often than not, only 1 cash counter is operational!! WHY?!? Busy on the weekends and ridiculously congested before a long weekend. (Is this the only Beer Store in 5 mile radius?) Staff? Not the friendliest of the bunch, but they get the job done and I can get out with my ice cold 24s!! Single cans are sold here too for you single can lovers! They usually have a wine tasting going on which is great if you're looking to try something new. Their staff are always willing to help out with a pairing and don't make you feel ridiculous for asking. It's a beautiful store the way things are displayed and marketed. There is always a lot of staff on the floor. Oftentimes the website doesn't match up. I've been looking for a specific wine and they don't end up having it even though the website said they had three in stock though. Call and check first before going. The parking lot is a nightmare because of Shoppers Drug Mart, Starbucks and Whole Foods. I dread having to go here on weekends because of this and why I took away a star. There are often long lineups, but they typically call anothe staff member to open up another cash. I went to return a few bottles of champagne the other day and because I no longer had the receipt, I couldn't get my money back. I understand other stores, but since you can only get alcohol from the LCBO in Ontario, where do they think I got it from?! Either way, gift card just means I don't have to pay for my wine later!

The associate was helpful and directed me to the area and provided me with answers when I asked which ones were most popular. They had a good selection, so I choose ones that looked more upscale and some other basic ones. Overall, the store was neat, clean, and adequately staffed and stocked.
