Very poor service. Scheduled a pick up for balikbayan box and nobody showed up on the designated pick up time. Called them multiple times , agent kept telling me that they haven't received any update from the driver and if i want to just reschedule. For a logistics company they never have someone on staff that is able to help take client boxes from their cars inside the store. Very frustrating & feels like they're taking advantage of their customers. They also only have one Dolley only to borrow. If the shipping floor is full it's still on the clients to stack their own boxes. This is not how to treat kababayan in my opinion. Shipping & living away from home is hard as it is. We have been sending money and packages through LBC for over 20 years making our family and friends happy. Prepare to wait here for a while due to long lines and only 1-2 staff working. It usually takes about 1 hour by the time you are done. Disneyland ride lines might be shorter. Hahaha. To have 5 stars, they should at least add a staff to keep the line moving and an inservice for a better customer approach and service. Im rating them 4 stars because their pick up balik-bayan boxes was very convenient. We called, they gave us the time and date of the pick up, and updated us on the possible arrival of the packages. It was very quick and easy. I suggest that if you are simply sending boxes to the Philippines, utilize their pick up service. However, call as soon as possible because during the holidays, they get so busy that it might take them weeks to pick up your packages. So before you shop and pack, call them first to make an appointment for pick up. read more

One - star for being avail in the Orange County. Who is that man working there for many years? How did he survive being an employee there for his POOR customer service. He did not provide any information about our package when it will arrive, we did not know there was an insurance that is OPTIONAL to purchase, it was NOT OFFERED. Had some docs to send home. Checked fedex and ups for charges but it cost way too much so I opted for lbc. I expected friendlier service from a fellow Filipino but I guess I expected too much. He left my documents on the table and started assisting another client. I came back when I saw my package left unattended and called his attention to the fact. I tried to call them this afternoon to find out their office hours but the number was constantly busy. Price is usually by cubic feet. The guy was polite but he was an hour and a half late. He had to drag the boxes across the living room. That is why my family has this whole taping ritual that seems to take a couple of rolls. Sending cargo by sea takes over a month. The warehouses are in Hawaii and LA. They can ship any size box but their flat rate one is 24x18x18. They can also help with tickets, travel planning and sell phone cards. We're not part of the rewards program but you could deliver a tenth of a pound in documents by courier or send six pounds of cargo free by air for free if you're a member. read more

Gave 4 star because there's only 1 thing I want them to improve, to answer their phone! I tried to set up a pickup and called them in their business hours, yet after 5 attempts, I gave up. I called other branch and in one ring, someone picked up the phone and made the arrangements. Ate (which I don't remember her name) who works at the front is pleasant, attentive and did answer my questions completely when I went here to send my package for the 1st time. I'm not sure why Kuya gets a lot of comment about his attitude, but when I was there, he was fine and he gave me straight up answers to my inquiries. Been sending boxes to the Philippines and I never had encountered mishaps going to my love ones. The tracking number works perfectly and it arrives on time as indicated on the tracking information. Friendly Tip - it's a bit costly, but I wrap my box entirely with the packaging tape so it won't get open easily if it gets wet while en route. read more

OMG this is just so frustrating. Came here with 3 other people. There's an elderly lady staff who at this time is not helping anyone.The other female was the one helping me. This elderly lady staff keeps on talking about her personal stuff distracting the other female staff who in turn made a mistake on what's she's doing and in the end made me waste my time waiting for her to finish my business. My first time sending an international package via Air Cargo to Davao city Philippine. Great customer service from both employees. Erlinda was the young lady who helped me throughout the whole process. She explained all the pricing up front and verified all the information so that there wouldn't be any delays in completing the delivery. Pls give yourself a few extra minutes when visiting LBC since they only allow a few customers inside the lobby due to the pandemic. I would say I was in and out roughly 20mins. I planned to get out of work before the pick up time just to be here on time for them to pick it up. Today at arund 9am a guy from LBC called ask me if I have a pick up today and I said yes at 1pm, he said can I pick it up 10 to 11am today. I said I am not available that is why I schedule it for 1pm. The guy said Im not coming back and I am not sure if I will be able to come back later, your pick up time for your area is 10 to 11am and told me to rechedule it and pick the time 10 am to 11am and hang up. I waited for 2 weeks for this pick up,planned things in advance to make things work out that include of getting out of work early, for me to be able to be there when to pick up. Easy for them to say reschedule so another 1 to 2 weeks availability to schedule for pick up, so annoying and frustrating!!! I tried to call LBC 21 times for clarification no one answer the phone. I came here for the first time to send a package to the Philippines. I think her name was Susan, she was very helpful, friendly & personable. She showed me how I can send the package cheaper by just trimming the box. I told her it was ok just to send it that way even though it cost a little more. I was done fairly quickly. She mentioned that it was going to take between 7 to 10 business days to get delivered. If you're planning on sending anything to the Philippines it's best to send it using LBC. Much cheaper than FedEx or UPS and faster. read more

I went to LBC Express website to schedule pick up since I can't contact this office (always busy). It was a very easy process to set up online pickup. The thing is I did not receive any confirmation email. But if I check my account with LBC I can see my schedule. The day arrived for the schedule and I don't know what to expect because I haven't heard from anyone the day before. Schedule time was 8am-10am. I am so glad that at 8am someone called from LBC Anaheim that he's on his way to pick up the box. :) I will use online scheduling next time again. :) read more

Customer service isn't the greatest. It seems as though sometimes people don't care. My packages do seem to make it to Manila. If you are the business owner and are reading this, please take some time to evaluate your means of customer service. Further, your call center in the Philippines seem to now know what is going on with your shipments. This is tried and tested by me. On several occasions, they didn't have a clue where things were. Your Customer Service level needs major improvement. Here are my experiences so far ETA Accuracy on Air Packages - 90% ETA Accuracy on Sea Shipments - 85% Bottom line: Your package will get to its destination. Just don't hold your breath when they give you an arrival date. On average, they are off by 1 or two days. The longest I had to wait was 5 days due to customs issues but I beg to differ. read more

I walked in here with my son wanting to find out about the rates and the cost of buying boxes. There were two people behind the counter - family? and 3 customers. Since I've never been here I figured I'd ask what the customers thought so I proceeded to ask the customer infront of me: "Excuse me? My mom wants to send some boxes to the Philippines and we've never used LBC before..." "What's the problem, then?" the customer cuts me off. "Uh, no problem. I just wanted to see what you thought of their service." I reply. Not understanding why she's being so darn rude. "Why don't you just ask them?!" I couldn't help but think sarcastically because I doubt they'd give me a bad review on themselves, idiot! But I decide to take the high road and smile (teeth clenched). "Okay. Thanks!" Can i kill them with kindness? In the meantime, the people behind the counter are glaring at me and my son. All they had to do was smile and I would have continued to wait in line patiently. But every once in a while, the lady would look at me and give me that snotty look. I finally had enough and said, "Thanks for the really nice service." and walked out. Twice within a month, LBC was no show no call to a scheduled pick up. They give you a booking number when you schedule but when you call to follow up if the driver is coming - they cannot even tell you anything. When you talk to someone on the phone, they respond with no sense of accountability and urgency to find out and give you an appropriate answer even after knowing you've waited for over 4 hours. LBC customer service staff clearly lacks good customer service skills. This company for many years now has made millions from consumers but has the "worst customer service" and continues to operate in a non-caring manner. read more
