The instructor was not able to figure out a pre-calc question for 15 minutes, and proceeded to accomplish nothing for at least an hour. I would say this branch in 2018 is suffering from inability to secure top notched instructors. Two years later, as someone who is about to embark on her journey through college, I can say with great confidence that the path I am about to take is in large part thanks to the lessons I learned at Huntington. Earlier this year I was named a National Merit Finalist, and in order to receive that title, the first step is to do well on the PSAT. In preparation for this test, I recieved a lot of personalized tutoring that pinpointed both my strengths and weaknesses, and then aimed to hone those strengths while working hard to make me more comfortable with tackling my weaknesses. The test-taking skills I learned, and the methods that were used to teach them, were very effective in my opinion, seeing as I scored a 229 (out of a maximum 240) on the PSAT. However, it is important to realize that if you want to do well at Huntington, and later on succeed in school and on any test you take, it is ultimately up to you and how hard you are willing to work. Motivation to succeed is a key part of achieving success; this is also something I realized thanks to Dr. Pan, who runs Huntington. He also gave me a lot of good advice concerning college and what to expect in the application process, and I won't doubt he will do the same for anyone who stops by his office with similar questions! Overall, I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center for anyone who needs that extra push in preparing for a standardized test. It does not matter if you're already a smart student or if you feel that you need some work; Huntington will cater to your needs and will help you get the score you desire.

At the range, after we completed the requisite tasks needed for the certification, he then put us through drills specific to our observed areas of opportunity--the person to my right had half his target taped off to represent a threat partially obscured, while I was walked through several grip changes that immediately corrected my tendency to pull toward the left. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that can make an 8-hour class on rules and safety more enjoyable than this instructor.

He was very patient, thorough, and with me side by side showing me the procedures from infants to pregnant mothers (CPR dummies). I scheduled and paid for my class online and took the course on site. Several props including how to use the AED. I missed one question out of 25 and received my CPR card the same day before leaving class. I really recommend that you give these folks the opportunity to help you obtain your BLS or other certifications. Everything is sanitized before and after each class with hand sanitizer on the practice tables. A very clean and inviting environment and well worth the $65.00. Swing by Starbucks or DD on your way as they are just down the street a 1/2 block or so.
