However, before I even got going my instructor BOB, perceived my apprehension and reassured me saying "You got this!" And if in being honest, if it hadn't been for BOB, I feel like I may have blown it! BOB was very cool and reassuring, but professional and all business at the same time. He called my nerves and instructed me through the exam by simply talking with me like I was a regular Joe instead of merely another guy trying to get his license. From the basic skills portion, through the street portion of the exam, BOB gave me clear directions and expectations while still engaging me in normal conversation, which in my opinion was extremely clever. Not only does it disarm the student, it also replicates the banter between friends during typical car ride, which makes driving all the more nuanced. I greatly appreciate Stroia, bc from my initial call down to the moment I passed the exam, every representative was polite, professional and very helpful. I would recommend STROIA to anyone looking for a road test or driver training. Especially BOB. In fact I think BOB deserves a raise God Bless!

Mr. Boller constantly shouted at me, made me feel stupid and stressed me out behind the wheel which in turn made me make more mistakes which made him even madde. The in class session taught us nothing and they promoted cheating on test. Men yelling at teenage girls during a pivotal time in their lives is not okay and fuck mr. boller for how he yelled in my face and belittled me. Also, they worked around her busy schedule. Her class was 4 days/week @3:30, but on Mondays she was busy until 6 so he allowed her to go to a class at one of his other locations that started at 7. My daughter has autism so we waited till she was a little older for drivers ed, and he did a really great job with her.

Amy's instructor, Erica, was a wonderful teacher. She put Amy, a nervous driver, who had twice failed the test in the past, at ease. Erica calmly and meticulously taught Amy how to drive safely and with confidence. We were both so impressed with Erica and I highly recommend her to families with nervous teens! I saw a night and day difference in Amy's driving and in her confidence level on the road. Erica is a gifted teacher! Amy then took her test with Mike who like Erica was low key and also able to put young drivers at ease. Mike obviously knew his stuff but had such a lovely personality that Amy was not nervous at all. I am unsure if Mike teaches but he seemed to be gifted with young people just like Erica. All-Star has clearly done their due diligence in hiring great staff. Plus when Amy passed with flying colors, Mike seemed almost as proud of her as I was! All-Star was a great help to me. I'm not sure that I would have been able to get Amy comfortable on the road myself because she was so nervous after her previous failures that I didn't feel it was safe to practice with her without help. All-Star was easy to deal with on the phone and provided excellent customer service. They made driving lessons safe, comfortable and easy for Amy giving her the needed information, practice and confidence. For the peace of mind and safety it was well worth the money for private lessons -- especially with such an excellent staff! We are so grateful to the staff at All-Star and recommend them highly!

This is such a lack of customer service-but not surprised the way that customer service has gone down the drain in some many areas. I have done MA classes before through a vocational school and Dorsey is for sure in a league of its own!! The teachers are absolutely amazing!! If your nervous about doing something they calmly help walk you through what your doing and make sure that you completely understand what your studying at the time!! Going back to school was a great decision for me. Going to Dorsey was the BEST decision I could have made!
