Their ethos and value around high quality seasonal food remains and so do the friendly faces behind the counter. I've been both for lunch and breakfast now and each time it has been a calming escape with a side of soul food. The gnocchi with lemon and tarragon in their opening days was, in true Goldilocks style, just enough. The serving size that good amount with gnocchi to savor but not be in a land of regret about the quantity you've devoured. And if you're so inclined, treat yourself to a post-lunch treat from their range of baked goods. I'd recommend the raspberry frangipane tart if it's available.
