It's hard to find a good kebab shop and when you do stay with it…read more The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The place is by far the best kebab place in Rickmansworth, Croxley and Watford area, as I had spent 45 mins driving around to find a decent doner kebab. It's a dedicated kebab shop only, not a hybrid (fish, pizza chip shop with an add on. They offer a good range of kebabs, shish, kofte, lamb, chicken. The price is reasonably priced and the portions are good.

Mmm...yum...yum yum yum…read more But when I went here today, I had a huge hunger on, so perhaps I was slightly biased. So let's rationalise this, weigh it up and decide on a star rating together... YES YES YES! Hellumi kebab - Delicious char-grilled veggies, big fat chunks of hellumi, masses of salad. Fries - Pretty good, mate. Falafel and hummus kebab - I am assured by my mum and aunt that this was majorly tasty too. Portions - Hearty, my friends, hearty! I told you I had a huge hunger on, but even so I couldn't finish my food. Looking forward to leftover hellumi for my lunch tomorrow. :P Premises - Smarter than any kebab house I remember going to, and we were treated to wiggley jiggley music videos on the TV while we waited for our order. Service - It was busy in there but we didn't have too long to wait. NO NO NO! Service - Service was quick, but the fella seemed slightly disgruntled that I wanted EVERYTHING on my kebab. When he asks what I want and I say "everything", I mean everything. Gimme them chillies, gimme that lemon wedge... Chilli sauce, garlic sauce? Yes please, everything please! Nought wrong with that, is there? Packaging - Polystyrene all the way. You're making my recycling bin CRY, guys. Please, sort it out! Scampi - I'm vegetarian so I didn't try this myself, but I'm told it was a bit dry with too much batter and not enough fishy wishy. So what do we think? What's the score, George Doors? A coupla minus points, but that giant hellumi kebab of deliciousness is still winking at me from the fridge. So how's about ****? Yeah, go on then, let's give it a four.

Lazeza is quite a nicely done out restaurant in Harrow's town centre. They have a lunch deal where…read moreany pasta is £6.50 and any pizza is £5.50. Not bad, especially considering some of the pasta dishes have a dinner time value of over £10 (a little steep, in fact). Portions are generous and the food is pretty decent. I enjoyed not only not being judged for having parmesan with seafood pasta (I haven't forgotten, Jamie's Italian woman), but actually being offered it. However, I kind of did that thing where you stare blankly at the waiter grating it until you realise he's not going to stop until you say so, therefore you end up with a Cheese Mountain. That's ok though, I love cheese. The pizza looked good and was enjoyed by my friend, our other lunchmate had a caeser salad which came with a big pile of chicken that she really enjoyed. What I liked about the menu is that although it's doing the standard pizza/pasta Italian fare, there were actually some fairly original pasta sauces. While it's not mind blowing it's a very nice place for lunch in Harrow.

Nice little place in harrow, great spot for lunch and dinner. Simple setting inside, large tables,…read morenice service, bit slow getting the bill to you when you only have an hour for lunch. The food portions are huge, although the chicken shish I had was rather bland, the salad was ok, nothing special, too many garden leaves. The chips were ok, for the price of £10.50 definitely not worth it! I think next time round i will try something else, the breaded mushrooms were my favourite.
