The best restaurant in Harrow. Authentic, fresh Mediterranean food, that comes in large portions. Reasonable priced as well.

What an amazing place, and an absolute must if you love the authentic taste of the Mediterranean…read more Everything is cooked over charcoal so you get a beautiful BBQ taste to many of the dishes which is really authentic of many Mediterranean dishes. The restaurant has been taken over in the last 2 years+ so if you visited the place previously and were dissapointed with the standard of the food then another visit is well recommended. The staff are amazingly friendly and very helpful, thoroughly explaining the dishes to the minutest detail with real passion and enthusiasm. Whether you are eating with friends, out with business or having a romantic evening with your significant other then this place is ideal and covers all basis. We started with the mixed mezze between two of us (which is plenty when having 2-3 courses). This can be served as a course for one person but we decided to share to get the taste of as much of the cuisine as possible. The great thing about having this as a starter is that there is two of everything so it is also great for sharing if you do not have a huge appetite. 2nd course consisted of the Signature dish of the Mixed grill (charcoal grilled minced lamb, marinated tender chicken and lamb cubes, garnished with salad, served with Cedar rice or French fries), which was sumptuous succulant and tasted amazing. my wife had the Sea Bass and stated that it was the best fish she had ever tasted. The meal was finished off with a nice sweet and all was washed down with a lovely bottle of house red. At the weekend (and sometimes during the week) they have an organist in the restaurant playing authentic lebanese (with the occassional western) music. A little bit Peter Kay(ish) but certainly added to the great atmosphere.

We were initially a little panicked as we walked further down the road than we remembered but thankfully it is still there! The waitress was great, super polite and it was a pleasure to hear her interact with the other tables. We both opted for the grills this time around rather than the Mezze dishes we'd had on previous visits. I had the chicken kebab, while my wife had the halloumi wrap. The chicken was so delicious, in fact I'd be quite happy to eat it again right now as I type this up. It came with a choice of fries or rice, I opted for the rice which was also good, and it came with the side of one of the best garlic sauces I've ever had as well as some salad. The halloumi was also great; we'd been to Nandos recently and thought that the stuff there was bland and rubbish. Thankfully this was like my memory of great halloumi; fresh tasting, a great texture and grilled to perfection. Wonderful experience and I can't wait to return.

But let me tell you...this is SO much more than just another kebab shop! I wish I could tell you what we ordered, but I can't. Mine was a stewed lamb atop hot bits of pita and slathered in their house sauce (like sour cream.) Oh good lawd IT WAS SO GOOD! Also equally delish was the hummus and pita. Service was super, food was amazing. Do yourself a favor and visit! I wish we were locals so we could eat our way through the entire menu. P.S. They do Uber Eats/new delivery if that's more convenient for you!

OMG! So much food…read more Between the 2 of us, we ordered 1 main course (iskander kebab) and 3 starters (sausages, imam bayildi - stuffed aubergine and falafel). The food was all super tasty, but we had so much leftover! Both of us had skipped lunch and were having early dinner, but we barely put a dent on the amount of food that arrived. As soon as we ordered, we were brought Turkish style bread lovingly buttered and 4 different dips (hummus, minty yoghurt, cheese and a tomato one). This itself would have been a sufficient meal for us both. The falafel came settled on a bowl of hummus. The side salad with the main arrived in a plate of its own. Service was very fast and the lady serving us was lovely as were the line of chefs we passed by on our way in and out. When you peep through he window, it looks like a tiny kebab place, but they have really comfortable seating at the back. Some of the other places we wanted to eat at in Camden on a Friday night were completely full, so we entered this place on a whim, but left completely dated and satisfied.

The 15 inch pizza was more like a 14.5 inch pizza (yes I always keep a tape measure on hand when ordering pizza to call out all the pizza dimension shenanigans of there), anyway I guess I can let it slide. My wife liked it a lot and wants to order from here again. I thought it was just basic ok. One of the cheaper ones I could find and they don't charge anything for delivery. The sour cream and garlic sauces didn't taste great and I threw most of it out. At least I didn't have to pay extra for the sauces. Matt G, reviewing a pizza place and not adding a joke/pun about pizza? Never mind, it's too cheesy anyway.

The hospitality was cold and unwelcoming, they seemed indifferent to their customers. The meal was served within an appropriate time, however the food itself really wasn't worth the price. The worst part was waiting for the bill for half an hour whilst the serving staff tended to their own dinners in the restaurant. The bill itself was not broken drown by item and given to us as a total amount, and the overweight owner sat back to his dinner with his back to us so that he didn't have to attend to us. We persisted and asked for a bill that showed us a breakdown, and got angry as they thought we were questioning their prices. He threw our credit card very rudely on the table. When we did eventually receive the itemised bill, we were charged for "inclusive" salads that were meant to be included with the meals. We were also pretty miffed to find that he'd added compulsory £5 service charge which was not stated anywhere on the menu, internet site or at the restaurant. It should not have been more than £43 and we were charged £53. It was my husband's birthday, but it was unprofessional, rude, and thoroughly dissatisfying. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It's just a stroll away from my place (not that it matters to you). The starters are great - you've got the choice of cold or warm mezes, calamari, dolmas, all the usual suspects for a Greek place. When it comes to the mains, I highly recommend the sheftalias and pork kebab (sorry Kosher and Halal gang), or go for the mixed grill if you can't decide. They even do really nice fish dishes as well, seabass and salmon are worth a mention. And don't forget to grab some chips - they use the proper Cypriot potatoes. Weekdays are usually quiet, but on weekends it can get busy so it's worth booking ahead. The service is alright, nothing special - but hey, it's Greek, what do you expect? As for parking, it's not amazing - there's a tiny lot across the street and you can park at Cockfosters station.

Their fish courses are very good too, and I can particularly recommend the charcoal grilled octopus - delicious with a feta salad and lots of lemon juice. Portions are big and you won't leave hungry. If you are going with a big group it's best to call ahead and make reservations especially on the weekend. The downside to this place is that it is small and when it is busy, it can feel a bit claustrophobic, and it's loud so it's difficult to have a good conversation. The decor is not my taste, I think it would benefit from looking a little more Mediterranean, but otherwise can't complain.
