Lazeza is quite a nicely done out restaurant in Harrow's town centre. They have a lunch deal where any pasta is £6.50 and any pizza is £5.50. Not bad, especially considering some of the pasta dishes have a dinner time value of over £10 (a little steep, in fact).
Portions are generous and the food is pretty decent. I enjoyed not only not being judged for having parmesan with seafood pasta (I haven't forgotten, Jamie's Italian woman), but actually being offered it. However, I kind of did that thing where you stare blankly at the waiter grating it until you realise he's not going to stop until you say so, therefore you end up with a Cheese Mountain. That's ok though, I love cheese.
The pizza looked good and was enjoyed by my friend, our other lunchmate had a caeser salad which came with a big pile of chicken that she really enjoyed. What I liked about the menu is that although it's doing the standard pizza/pasta Italian fare, there were actually some fairly original pasta sauces. While it's not mind blowing it's a very nice place for lunch in Harrow. read more
