The go-to Donair joint. Late night Awesome place for a Donair be it dine in, take out or skip. The restaurant is usually busy with a crowd even in the later evening hours and there's skip drivers going about at all hours. The jumbo Donair is packed full of thickly sliced meat, decent amount of veggies but sauce is on the lighter side. Quality is much more consistent than Richard's and the value is good. read more

I ALWAYS order from Laziza on Skip The Dishes, and always ask for pepperoni added to my donair, and they AWAYS accommodate! The Cheese Donair Combo is very tasty, fries are amazing! I ordered a donair and Donair pizza from Laziza and was fairly impressed. The donair meat is really flavourful but I found it left a very spicy after taste. The portion size was average. I would like if we could request more veggies or customize the type of veggies we get on the donair. The donair pizza was pretty good! Lots of cheese that was perfectly cooked. The meat was thin as they only put a single layer of donair meat under the thick cheese. I still really enjoyed it and the leftovers were delicious the next day. The value for money was on point. At a lower price point, the quality and quantity was was you would expect. I will definitely re-order late night snacks from here! read more

This was a really great dinner from Laziza. Freshly made vegetarian pizza and tasty donair burger steeped with flavours! I will say though that the donair burger and fries were jam packed into one container which did ruin the presentation of the burger. Other than that, food was delicious! I only tried hummous and pita, hummous was ok, pita: they gave me a lot of but they were prepackaged plain and a bit dry/old. The pictures on the menu did not look that appetizing and service was a bit frigid and took awhile to get me the hummous to go. read more

I love love love Laziza. We come here often, and love how friendly the owners and workers are, and the food. They have delicious, fresh, food for good prices. I usually get the "steak sandwich" which consists of steak, fries or rice, veggies, and garlic toast. my mom gets the spaghetti and steak (I forget the exact name), which also comes with garlic toast. We've also tried their shrimp basket, hummus, pizza, lasagne, cheese burger, chicken burger, and other dishes. Everything tastes so delicious, and fresh, with the exception of their pizza. Its a hit or miss. My mom ordered it once, and it was absolutely delicious. Nice crust, and nice amount of cheese and toppings. However, the second time around when I ordered, the pizza was so soggy we couldn't eat it. We threw out the entire thing. Not sure what they did to make it soggy... but oh well. The chicken burger I once ordered was also very very soggy. I had to eat the piece of chicken and throw the rest away. I should also mention the portion sizes are HUGE. You won't feel like you've been ripped off. I would definitely recommend trying this place out if you're looking for some yummy food, and a great place to socialize with your buddies/family/whoever. read more

Just discovered this place a week ago? (As I was ordering from royal pizza and did not enjoy their customer services or lack of care with food arriving hot). And my goodness I am so impressed. The food arrived several times extremely hot and fresh. So far I've tried the pizza onion rings fries steak burgers fish and chips and I will not order delivery from anywhere else again. I love the fact their fries are obviously fresh and cut potatoes. Not frozen and not skinny or limp or soggy! LOL The prices cannot be beaten and the portion sizes are amazing. Sadly don't seem to have any dessert options on the menu but that's ok haha don't need the sugar anyways so Thank you to this amazing family owned restaurant for such incredible service! I ended up buying a Groupon in hopes of finding a decent pizza place as it seems hard to come by in Edmonton. We are a fan of the vegetarian pizza and I love the hamburger/ bacon pizza. They deliver to our area as well and most companies don't. The only downside is the portion is a bit small for the price. Their large does not equal a pizza 73 large. I think of the place as a bit more gourmet than your regular pizza. read more

I live 5 minutes from them and for 3-4 years didn't even really realize it was even there. Checked it out one day and WOW! Just walking in the smell of Medeteranian food hit you and their food tastes as good as it smells, AMAZING! And a very broad menu from Donairs to seafood and very reasonably priced too. I haven't had a good donair in years and I just recently had a few here. At first I just tried it with minimal expectations, but I was very impressed and have returned at least three times. Their burgers and onion rings are solid. They have a very big menu but from what I've tried it's pretty stellar. Bonus: They're open pretty late, until 1 a.m. most days. I only figured that out after a late night bowling session with the guys :) I wish them the best of luck and hope they get busier! read more

I ordered delivery from them and their food was delicious. The ordering process was kind of annoying because on their website they do not list their phone number and only give the option to order online. Well that was a bust because the online ordering took me to a blank page. I found their phone number via Google and placed my order for a medium onion and beef pizza as well as a cheese donair. The delivery person came without a debit machine despite the person on the phone saying they had debit. Then he left his change in the car when I went to pay and didn't have enough change to cover my $40 so I left a huge tip to him. The food made up for those minor inconveniences. The donair wasn't overly covered in donair sauce and the pizza tasted great. I would order from them again just making sure I had exact change for what I wanted. Update: the manager called me apologizing that the machine didn't work for debit and knocked $10 off my next order. Now that's good customer service. read more

This is our favorite place to go for halal steak and wings. Always cooked perfectly. They have a great selection of comfort foods like lasagna and my favorite, the chicken stirfry. The plates are pretty big and I always have leftovers to take home. I just wish they had smaller plates for a lower price because I never finish everything haha. We decided to branch out from our usual pizza place. Laziza's reviews were good and the total would be $6 cheaper than our usual place. We called and ordered a meatlovers and donair pizza, no onions. We were told 30-50 minutes to have it delivered. Our order took over an hour. Mildly irritating but not a deal breaker. We sat down to watch a movie and enjoy our pizza when I realized my donair pizza was completely soggy except for 2 cm by the crust. I'm not being picky, I mean so soggy that it was the consistency of baby food. Furthermore, it was riddled with onions. I decided to call and give them another chance. I explained the two issues I had with the pizza. The response was "well do you want another one?" In my experience of GOOD customer service the response is typically "I'm sorry". I accepted the offer of another pizza and was informed it would be an hour to an hour and a half though. I informed him that the time frame was unacceptable and that if that was the case we would never be ordering from them again. He replied "Well that's your loss cause we have the best pizza in the city" Before I could respond, he had hung up the phone. So on top of the worst donair pizza I've ever had in Edmonton, this is the worst example of customer service in Edmonton that I've seen in the last two years. Whenever I have a bad experience as a customer, I always remember that mistakes happen, treat the employee with respect, and offer the opportunity for the experience to be remedied.
