I remember our first meeting, our rescue beagle absolutely took to him instantly which is about all I need to know. (Especially since she was usually more skittish of men generally.) We give them our beagle stamp of approval and a 5 barks review :) Updated review Here we are years later, still happily using Cutters Unlimited. One of my favorite days of the year is when Dan and his Cutters team come and do the annual tree clean up. They are a delight, bring so much joyful efficient energy. The trees on our lot and everything just looks beautiful and like it can breathe happier after they are here. I had reached out about a tree trimming and laying down some trees that have passed. Dan as always is so responsive. He came a took a look. I was a bit behind and had not reached out to schedule an appointment in the following month and a half. When to my delight he texted and said they were in the area would we like to do it midday. Fabulous to have something up and take itself off a long to do list. Our trees look so pretty and like they are not overcrowded with branches. Plus they help our canopy trees that are very tall but try to grow branches the rest of the way down that would compromise the health and nutrition going to the top of the tree. Very happy as always! Original review We reached out to Dan for a quote to have a few trees cleaned up and removed. We love the trees on our new property and wanted to give them the TLC they needed to thrive. In the decade prior, the trees had not been properly trimmed or maintained. We hired Cutters Unlimited. They book about 1-2 months in advance. They were very helpful when we had to wait to book due to another remodeling project finishing. Dan was so incredibly helpful in advising which trees were crowded, which were struggling and what we should do. He respected and worked with us to preserve and cultivate a better habitat for the trees. He also advised what we should remove as they were too close to our house, well or another tree. He is very knowledgeable on tree species and things like root systems. I wanted to make sure the root systems would not hurt parts of our home they were near. Dan is incredibly responsive. He always responds quickly and when he says he will be somewhere he is. I was so impressed by Dan's crew. They worked like a professional league sports team or in their case tree cutting & maintenance league. They showed up on time/early. Set up their trucks along the street and did not park on any neighbors yard only the street. They all had their tasks and were off to it. I sincerely appreciated their care when parking in front of neighbor's homes or using the driveway they were okayed to use. The team all had proper safety gear on and took care. Given how dangerous tree trimming can be this was wonderful to see how seriously they take safety. Had a lovely morning watching all their great work and enjoyed the product of their labors afterwards. Our home and trees look beautiful. We could not be happier with our experience and the results. I would go out of my way to recommend Cutters Unlimited, LLC. We had a very positive experience and we will use them again for our property's tree needs.

Raheim was…read morequick to respond and was at our house by 6pm to take a look at our needs; two trees in the front needing trimmed and multiple trees in the backyard, including one that had multiple branches hanging over our sunroom. He said he could call his crew in and start right away. We were hesitant since it was late but Raheim was adamant he and his team could get it done. He started on our front trees while he waited for the crew. By the time they got here it was getting dark. I again expressed concern to Raheim and he again insisted they could get it all done before it got dark. By the time they finished the front and went to the back, it was difficult to see. I again suggested we reschedule to finish as what needed done was close to our house and shed and I worried something would get damaged. Raheim said no they would finish it and asked me if I had a spotlight. A spotlight. I looked over and noticed one area was VERY bare; the crew had cut down a tree Raheim and I agreed would stay. I was upset and insisted they stop since they couldn't see and to come back Friday the 19th to finish the job. Raheim said he would replace the tree and sent us information of where to select the item Raheim was supposed to pick up our replacement tree he agreed to buy Thursday. Friday, he says he will be there by 9:30am. 8:55am he asks if we had picked out our tree then recommended not planting it until a month later (see photos) I was working from home but went out to meet the crew at 9:45am and make sure they knew what needed to be cleared out. They were not clear on what all needed to go. Raheim showed up around 10:30am, informed me if I wanted my back sunroom roof completely clear of tree limbs that we would need to pay more. I was told clearing the limbs showed more limbs higher up and that would cost more. As the professional, I would have expected him to bring this to my attention prior to agreeing to clear our sunroom. Raheim said he was going up front for a smoke...and I never saw him again. I was stuck trying to work while supervising his team to make sure the job was done. To top things off, when his crew finished, I thanked them and asked if Raheim would be coming back for payment. They called him, he called me and said he'd be back "later in the evening" to pick up the check. He showed up at 2pm looking for the check (see photos). I really enjoyed meeting Raheim and his energy and know-how was very marketable. However, that is where the professionalism ended.
