Very friendly people, but improper tailoring practices (per my new tailor)…read more When taking in slacks and skirts, they did not measure to make it even, which can be seen from the distance between back pockets and center seam. I took them to a different seamstress and she measured them to be off by a third an inch, and explained to me that it appeared the fabric was taken in from one side versus both sides. This causes the back of the slacks to look pinched at the center seam, like the fitness influencer butt scrunch shorts. They also forgot to add the back belt loops back on. My new tailor is trying to fix them, but she told me that ATG did not leave any fabric to let them back out and is recommending I throw out these pants altogether. I think these women are very nice and were friendly, and that's why I am giving 2-stars. But I paid around $800 to get several skirts, slacks, and jackets taken in. For the price, I wish they had been more detail oriented with measuring out exact lengths, and I wish they'd left some fabric for future alterations (which I have been told is typical practice).

I waited patiently for a half an hour while she fitted a dress on a young lady and talked and talked, and talked. I picked up my pants a week or so later. They looked terrible; like someone didn't finish and threw them in a bag for pick up. The fringe was not finished, but worse, hadn't even been trimmed. There were long threads and mess hanging off! One leg was fringed more than the other. They weren't stabilized with a stitching at the top as they had been when I brought them. I was so shocked and disappointed. Wah-Tee said, " Aren't they cute? Sophia seemed to know exactly what all my dress needed.They provided me with a quote and assured me that my dress would be ready for my bridal portraits just a little under a month later. Including my first initial visit, I only went to Couture Alterations three times. The third time was for my final dress pickup. My second appointment I needed to make sure that I had my wedding shoes, because they needed to adjust the hem of the dress. They were very accommodating. When I wasn't sure about something, they answered all my questions and fixed any pieces that I raised concerns about. I was a little worried when I went in to my second-to-last appointment, since it appeared that Sophia was no longer working there or was no longer working on my specific dress. They transferred the remaining work to another seamstress. However, this other seamstress was very nice, and made sure the dress was finished according to how I envisioned it. Additionally, they completed my bridesmaids' shawls in a very quick amount of time, and they came out great!
